The 2016 IoT Show Asia was our biggest and best yet. We were delighted to welcomemore than 2,400 attendees from almost 40 countries, representing a truly globalgathering in Singapore.
Over 70 speakers from across industries offered their insights across 8 paneldiscussions, 8 roundtable discussions, and 57 presentations. Topics addressed were asdiverse as smart cities, intelligent transportation system, smart utilities, smartmanufacturing, Industry 4.0, smart logistics, digital transformation in oil & gas andmore. In short, this was a business event, focused on the increasingly expandingnumber of use cases IOT in the commercial world.
The two-day event attracted executives from various industry verticals and solutionproviders involved in IoT projects, as well as consultants and government delegations.Many of these executives arranged a number of meetings with one another around theevent. More than 200 individual meetings were confirmed in our networking app alone,in addition to countless others conducted onsite. The exhibition featured a busy start-upzone, technology talks and demonstrations and a packed IoT University, whereattendees got an introductory overview of the applications of IoT technology todifferent businesses and industries, including the smart city, manufacturing, logistics,utilities, analytics and more.
The IoT Show Asia was co-located with The Commercial UAV Show Asia, which broughtover 1,000 additional attendees, creating one of Asia’s largest emerging technologyshows.

MARKETING CAMPAIGN
The IoT Show Asia 2016 conference and exhibition took on an integrated and extensive
marketing campaign spanning close to 50 weeks! Next to traditional marketing
channels, we also incorporated a series of innovative ideas, capitalising on multiple
channels to reach our global target audiences. The promotion undertaken included a
mix of different channels such as digital marketing, third party media channels, social
media and press relations.
Marketing plan overview:
A total of 2,888 brochures were downloaded online by targeted audience
members as a result of email campaigns, social media campaigns and 3rd party
partnerships.
Over 3,635,000 emails were sent as part of our internal email marketing
campaign commencing at 45 weeks
We also sent 3rd party electronic mail blasts via partnerships with trade media
partners. These EDMs promoted the conference and exhibition and was sent to
over 271,000 contacts
The event was also marketed by Emerging Technology Blog which featured over
50+ articles and interviews with speakers and start-ups
We placed a total of 13 print and banner ads about the event in IoT related trade
publications and websites to publicise the event
The event was listed on over 17 carefully selected event and trade related portals
A dedicated search re-marketing campaign was carried out via Google Display
Networks, Youtube, Facebook and Linkedin
Facebook campaigns to promote the free expo reached over 62,000 people
The website attracted a total of 21,000 sessions with over 51,000 page views
