From the Commander
I would like to say, what an AWESOME
job done by Brian Farmer and his com-
mittee, team on the 1st Annual Chili
Cook-off. VFW was there to support the
efforts too.
December 7th Pearl Harbor day: It was
my honor to recognize our WWII Mem-
bers, by treating those members to
Wednesday night dinner on the Post.
Thank you again for your Service!
I Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year. I’m looking for-
ward to 2017 and continuing to move
the Post in the right direction while
serving our VETERANS.
Keep your eyes open to calendar events
and activities for 2017!
Tony Cox
Commander
VF W Post 2503
From the Auxiliary
President
Happy New Year
I want to thank you all for a great 2016!
I am pleased at the milestones the auxiliary has
made, and hope for may more in 2017.
I also want to thank District President Sue
Moore for attending our last meeting in
December.
Due to the death of a dear friend of Tony and
myself, we were not able to be at the regularly
scheduled meeting, but Connie Ross did a great
job of taking the helm.
Newsletter mailing will no longer be provided.
This electronic newsletter will be a great way to
stay connected throughout the month. If any-
one has any questions or concerns I can be
reached at: [email protected].
Looking forward to a great year ahead!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We continue to do pretty well with
our income. We have had some
blockbuster VFW functions and
hope we can continue them into the
new year. Please remember the
Building Fund Drive will begin soon
and we rely heavily on those dona-
tions. We look forward to serving
you in 2017 and beyond.

CRAFT SHOW Better late than never: I want to say, “Thank You!” to all who baked or donated goods or gave money. “Thank You!” to all of you Chair Persons: Jan Davis for the bake sale, Tiger for the raffle table, and to Nora Van Cleave, who even though she had a table, was every-where doing everything without being asked. And a reminder to whoever will run the Craft Show next year, I will be available to answer questions and provide directions. JUST A WISH My wish for 2017 is for as many Auxiliary members as possible to attend the meetings to voice your concerns and to volunteer for post functions. Our post needs us. May 2017 be 2503’s best year and you can make that happen! A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Karen Cox and Geri Brown for putting up all the post Christmas decorations. And don’t miss out on the second Wednesday Hamburger Night when some Christmas items will be raffled off. FINALLY Please help the Auxiliary update its records::
