Maths and Reasoning

To support children with their maths, we have attached six more sets of written arithmetic tests. If children are becoming more

confident and accurate, try giving them a 30 minute maximum time limit.

We have also attached some reasoning. To begin with, revisit Year 5 to recap learning. The link below takes you to a set of 5

lessons for ‘Home Learning – Year 5’. These are accompanied by a short video to teach a skill, a set of questions (like below) and

the answers. Work through the 5 lessons at your own speed.

https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-5/

Once you have completed the Year 5 Home Learning, follow the link below to the Year 6 Home Learning. Again, they

have a short video, set of questions and answers. Continue to work through the first 5 lessons only.

https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-6/ White Rose are updating their Home Learning every couple of weeks. We will give instructions to the next area to

attempt in our next home learning update.

If the Year 5/6 learning is too tricky for your child, please use the Year 1 – 4 Home Learning on the same link.

We will be moving onto lessons beyond the first five in future weeks if necessary.
