Senior Test Analyst

About your team

Revenue Systems Development is a technology group supporting the development and testing of Wagering, Lotteries, Gaming and Internet products, plus the testing Online & Mobile applications.

About your role

The purpose of this position is to provide efficient and effective quality system testing to ensure business requirements are met and systems adhere to all regulatory requirements.

What youll do

Design, develop, maintain, execute and review manual and automated test scripts.

Compile, maintain and review test documentation

Monitor and report test metrics and the status of testing progress during development/project cycles.

Provide system support by investigating, liaising and advising on problems reported by production, development and 3rd party providers.

Test the functioning of 3rd party products when connected to the system and provide where required test reports for 3rd party suppliers and regulator.

Analyse, review and evaluate requirements, working with the business to understand system requirements.

Estimate testing requirements to determine scope of development/project cycles.

Initiate and implement improvements to the test process.

Oversee software deployments to test.

Evaluate and initiate improvements to test support software.

What you bring

Tertiary qualifications in IT such as Software engineering.

ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst/Technical Test Analyst (Preferred).

Demonstrated experience within a software test environment (minimum five years is desirable).

Exposure to commercial development of software.

Experience in business focussed test environments.

Experience with end to end IT applications testing.

Experience in an automated test environment.

Ability to analyse system information and develop appropriate test scripts and success criteria.

Knowledge of operating systems, PC hardware, network configuration and distribution.

Proficient in the use of source control and test management software (Microsoft Visual Studio preferred).

Sound knowledge of SQL databases with the ability to write and execute queries.
