Voltage Limiting Devices (VLD-O type)MAIN CHARACTERISTICS:The voltage limiting device function is to control the voltage of the RAIL (negative polarity) in d.c. traction systems according to the EN 50122-1 Standard (2011 Edition). Its structure consists of two main devices connetced in parallel:-One electromechanical switch-One electronic switch (SCRs technology).
