POSCO-MALAYSIA was launched in April 2008, although POSCOs involvement in Malaysias steel industry dates back to the1990s when its technical teams rst provided the industrial relationship with the necessary support, expertise andprofessional training.

POSCO-MALAYSIA is located in the industrialpark of Pulau Indah with quick access to theports and the city of Klang. The area is servedby rst-class network of highways andsecondary roads.

The EGI plant, jointly conceived by Malaysianengineers and EGI specialists from POSCO istestimony to a successful partnershipbetween Malaysia and Korea.

Teamwork is essential and strongly encouragedwith the more senior staff guiding the junior

ones. Regular meetings are held to update andkeep everyone in the loop.
