18th FIPS-Mouche European Fly Fishing Championships and Conservation Symposium
PORTUGAL, 13-20 May 2012
INVITATION
It is with a great honor and joy that Portugal receives, once again, an International
Championship in our waters. Throughout the years, in all the innumerable competitions,
sanctioned by the CIPS, organized in our country, everybody was very welcomed and
organizations were great, to say the least. We are certain that, once again, we will
correspond to the expectations deposited in us and that all the presents in this European
Championship will remember it forever.
I wish to all the participants an excellent competition and may all reach their objectives.
FPPD President and International organizer
Jorge Almeirim

A place to feel and dream The crystal clear, quiet waters of the Aguieira dam set the stage for a number of recreational and leisure activities which have been the main calling card for those who enjoy true contact with nature. Where the slopes, descending from the ridges, meet the rivers peaceful waters, we have developed a touristic and residential resort that is truly unique on a national scale, at the heart of one of the country’s most beautiful landscapes.
