Chef André Silva

Chef André Silva presents the first Gastrobar open 24 hours in the city of Porto. HUB Gastrobar is a gastronomic laboratory of contemporary cuisine, with national products and adjusted every time of the year to challenge the conviviality and the sharing of dishes in a home feeling environment.

Born in Valongo, André Silva goes a long way in different restaurants, establishing himself as a renowned name in the sector after several years in the cuisine of Hotel Casa da Calçada Relaix & Chauteaux, distinguished with a Michelin star. Winner of several awards including “Revolta do Bacalhau”, Chef Cook of the Year”, “Gold Fork” of the “Boa Mesa Boa Cama” Guide and the unavoidable Michelin Star. He is also the Executive Chef of Porta Restaurante and holds various degrees at international institutions covering different styles of cuisine.

With national and customized products at all times of the year, the HUB of the Urban Bites Gastrobar shows deconstructed artistic creativity in the sharing experience. Chef André Silva offers different combinations of ingredients to savor at any time of day (or night) in a Gastrobar with an informal service and a wide selection of Portuguese wines by the glass.
