Public Typography iPad ExperienceDesigned how the book would translate to a tablet or iPad. The on-screen ex-perience incorporates motion and interaction into the spreads. Icons are used to help the viewer interact with the iPad and get more out of the magazine. Users can push icons for more information, audio, and additional websites to make purchases and view social media for brands listed.

Type IDA book created to explore my design beliefs and identity. A picture, an icon, and a logo were all used in the book to represent myself.

During my time interning at Children’s Mercy Hospital, I designed a logo for the Children’s Mercy Heart Center. The logo plays off the Heart Center’s Slogan “Changing one child at a time.” The hand represents the child, the heart represents the type of hospital, and the one finger being a different color represents that each one child is special. The logo system has many different colors that can be used interchangeably.
