NEW COLLECTORS ACADEMYSão Paulo, 2014

As resident curator of Tofiq House, a new art club and cultural incubator in São Paulo, I've started a new series of talks, workshops, visits dedicated to those who want to be involved in arts and culture as collectors, supporters. The topics touched included the independent cultural spaces of Sâo Paulo with Phosphorus, a visit to the Barbosa collection, a meeting with Carbono Art Gallery about collecting editions, a talk with artist Frank Thiel on occasion of his opening at Galeria Leme, and an art salon with Danish curator Tanya Toft.

MOONby Ai Weiwei and Olafur Eliasson, 2013

With this digital platform, Ai Weiwei and Olafur Eliasson start to explore the creative possibilities of the web as a place for artistic collaboration and experimentation. Everybody is invited to contribute to a new planet with their drawings, that should visualize their most important messages. A testament to freedom of expression beyond boundaries. The interactive design is by Lucas Werthein and Shahar Zaks. Video documentary by The Creators Project.

Falling Walls Conference, Berlin2010 - 2013

The Falling Walls Conference puts together 20 top researchers from the most diverse fields of science, to celebrate every 9 November the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. It’s a cultural happening for the symbolic meaning of the day, but most of all a big contribution to the promotion of science in society, the dialogue between different disciplines, the facilitation of innovation. Until 2014 I edited their texts for the print catalogue, and until 2013 I co-curated the programme and the digital presence (videos, website, social media, webcast).

The performance art project conceived by artist Fyodor Pavlov-Andreevic, and curated by me, is an unprecedented way to present multiple performance art pieces as a unique living installation, but also as individual works. Presented for the first time at the leading home for contemporary art in Buenos Aires, the Faena Art Center, Performance Carousel is a revolving installation hosting 10 artists with different pieces about a central theme. The project will travel around the world.

Daniel Libeskind and Tomás Saraceno at MADE (2012)

Moderated by Berlin-based curator Lukas Feireiss, the cross-generational and interdisciplinary discussion investigated the interface of art, architecture, design, literature and science. It aimed to seek out common areas between differing creative spatial practices and highlight the multitude of ways to approach seemingly familiar problems in radically new ways, and thereby break original and untouched grounds.

Art&Society at Soho House Berlin2012 - 2013

This is a new series of talks I started at Soho House Berlin, to discuss with international curators/artists from “culturally booming” cities the local art scene in relationship with politics, media, society. The first event focused on Russia, featuring artist, museum director and writer Fyodor Pavlov Andreevich, about freedom of speech, the new importance of performance art in Russia, and the impact of the Pussy Riot case. The second features the filmmakers behind the documentary "Creative despite War", revealing the new Afghan art scene and society.

#Artrevolution, Il Sole 24 Ore2014

Il Sole 24 Ore is the most important financial Italian newspaper, that has kept over the years a political independence and a content quality comparable to the main international outlets. Since 2014 I started collaborating with them as expert in the topics of the relationship between arts/culture and innovation. I write in Italian for their print and web version, and in English on my blog #artrevolution. Some examples:
