This is the new logo I designed for the Etsy Greek Street Team and the banner I created for the team’s blog. There was an internal competition for this and my design was the one selected. APHASIA EXERCISESIllustrations2012_ Cllient: G. Karamanlis

Aphasia is an impairment of language ability. These are three set of exercises that were de-signed to help people with aphasia overcome their language disability. The illustrations are showing five subjects involved in 36 differ-ent actions. Using multiple combinations the speech therapist can work against diverse dif-ficulties. They are purposely designed simple, black and white and realistic. They had to be as easy as possible to understand.

MIKRISKINILogo and leaflet2012_Client: Mikriskini

“Mikri skini” is a theater group. The name means “small scene” and the logo [on the right] is trying to represent this notion by us-ing the human figure logo in a big scale next to a black box. The logo looks like an old TV diagram commenting the contrast between TV and theater while it gives right away the message of show and spectacle involved. The leaflet [above] is presenting the rehearsal space of the group and. The left image is the front side, while the right one is the back of the leaflet.

BLASTOSLogo and poster for “blastos”2012_Client: Blastos

Blastos is the greek word for sprout. Therefore the logo [above] combines the word with the image of a sprout. The letter B become the leaves of the sprout. “Blastos” is the social co-operative of the municipalities of Elliniko and Argyroupoli.The poster was used for advertis-ing the inauguration of the cooperative. Etsy Greek Street Team organises biannual craft events in Athens. The events are called “health to our hands” which is a wish for someone that makes something tasteful. This is the poster for the event of Christmas 2011 and it is inspired by the name of the event and in general the concept of handmade and diy. The triangles are created by hangers, and are connected to a craft workshop that took place during the event. The image on the rigth is the avatar for promotion on facebook. HIBERNATIONCD pack, concept, layout, design 2008_ Client: Interstellar Overdrive

Graphic design of the album of the music group Interstellar Overdrive with the title “Hibernation”, that was released in 2008 in Greece from Studio II records. Above you can see the two posters promoting the release of the album and on the right the cover of the album. In the right page you can see the print on the CD itself on the top right corner and the back and front of the leaflet with the lyr-ics which folds in three parts. All the photos used are from a derelict neoclassical building that is in a sense in “hibernation” waiting to be restored and rehabilitated. The lyrics of each track are written inside each room of the building on the first floor plan. So some-one can have a tour through the building while listening to the album.

Zdrop is my personal online craft shop on etsy [ www. zdrop.etsy.com]. The logo is based on the shape of a drop. The drop shape is also used to make a pattern for the background of the banner and the cards.

ZDROP GOES UKZdrop promotional campaign2012-3_Personal project

I made this campaing used mainly for face-book promotion of my craft brand. It is for the series of sock-creatures I created since I moved to the UK called “Zdrop goes UK”. The creatures have mainly red and blue colours and some have a crown and royal flair. PERSONAL EXHIBITION2006_ Personal project

These are some of the works that were pre-sented at my first personal exhibition of painting that took place at Aldebaran in Thes-saloniki. It concerns mostly studies of human figures and some portraits. The paintings pre-sented here are 52 cm to 25 cm and are made with mix technique, mainly collage, pencil and acrylic colours.

Ο κύριος στόχος αυτής της δουλειάς είναι ο πειραματισμός με διάφορες τεχνικές σε ένα μόνο θέμα. Χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ποικίλες τεχνικές ζωγραφικής, κολάζ και χαρακτική και μια ποικιλία υλικών όπως ακρυλικά, ξηρό παστέλ, μολύβι, μελάνι, κολάζ και χαρακτική. Το έργο αποτελεί το σύνολο των έξι πορτραίτων.

The main aim of this work is experimenting with various techniques in the same subject. Diverse techniques were used: collage, print-making and a variety of materials including dry pastel, acrylic colours, pencil and ink. The work is the set of six portraits.
