Bentosound is a Tupperware lunch/snack box with asmall built-in audio system using the food containing the volume as a subwoofer. The sectionized bento box shows that atmosphere creating music is sometimes an important ingredient of a good meal.Connecting your lunchtime to a good quality sound onthe go. By the use of biopolymers this consumer electronic product should open a new market segment for Tupperware. In times of #oceanplastics and overall plastic critism theTupperware portfolio must change. This project plays with it.

A room divider, which simulates a natural surrounding through its motion and visual lightness

Where is the place to focus on ourselves again? A place to regain energy to survive in a world which seems to run faster and faster every day? Most people have their clear thoughts not in a shopping mall, but while having a walk by the sea or in the forest. A surrounding which consists of uncountable natural processes and dynamics which are grounding our mindset.

Inspired by the places human beings feel comfortable the most, this project wants to combine our current living situation with naturality. It is inspired by nature and its constant move-ments, which never stops. These movements are generated by magnetic fields influencing each other and are looking like grass in the wind. It creates a natural surrounding in an artificial, such as living or waiting rooms etc. where nothing has a motion by itself and allows you to divide the room to a small space, a space for your thoughts, to relax and focus on yourself again.

R ES U LTThis Sideboard combines the past with contempory furniture. It is inspired by Scandinavian design in the late 60s. This sideboard was made with constructional help of RAUM-WERK, a Joiner based in Cologne, right before I started studying in Pforzheim.

A cleaning device for all the small dirty thingsBased on the observation that there is no cleaning device, which serves the purpose of cleaning small items in an efficient way in your allday life is this short term project.The German brand Kärcher is the market leader in high-pressure cleaner devices for garden and outdoor work.As campervan owner I see a lot of use-cases for such a small mobile device, such as cleaning your shoes after a walk in the mud, cleaning dishes or your mountainbike after a ride.

The shape is inspired by classical spraycans. This mobile cleaner can also be used to do reverse graffiti paintings. A legal way to bring some art onto dirty grey forgotten walls.

Today a lot of people move a couple of times in their lives, due to their job situation. The globalized job market has developed special needs including a huge amount a flexibility. This means a lot of work besides the job and also emotional flexibility when you move to another town to keep up your ideas of career.New places bring you new experiences and expand your hori-zons, but forces you to let your old life behind you.A feeling of being at home need time to come, which seems to be a problem in moving a lot.The VÄGG furniture system can be transported and build up easily, because of its modularity. It is dismantled fastly and you will not need a second person to move into your new apartement. If you once have chosen your favorite configuration you can set it up over and over again. This means that you can fulfill your need for a change also very easily and flexibly with new modules or a new configuration. It is like the home screen of your smart-phone. You have your favorite furniture right where you want or need it. It could be a feeling of being at home, wherever you are. #homeiswhereyouuseitThis project was for the design competition of the IKEA Stiftung with the topic,,home“. During my Internship at the joiner, I was mentally occupied by furniture and living topics and used the project in my free time to deal with this, before I started study-ing.

CAMPERVAN+

a passion project

In 2014 I decided to buy this Opel Vivaro, a workshop car used by the maintenance service of the public trans-portation system in Den Haag, Netherlands.Like my father in his early 20s did with his Volkswagen T2 I converted the Vivaro into a campervan. I worked in the office for EDAG at this time and used every minute to work on the car. From the winterproof insulation over sink to the 200W solarpanel the car got everything you need on the road. After the first trips to Norway, Sweden and Denmark I decided to rebuild the Interior in 2017, to include the improvement of the experience I got over the years.Living in these few square meters, waking up to lots of different places and become acquainted to lots of people is like design a passion of me.
