This exercise had a main purpose: the develop-ment of a beach along Copenhagen’s coast that had its support for accessibilities and equipments in an old industrial port of the city. All this area is artificial - the first constructions are from the forties - and this was what made this study even more special. The proposal was based on the idea of conquering land to the sea by depositing non-contaminated soil. The images presented show how this conquer will happen and what's the best way to do it, so biodiversity can happen at its maximum level.

The study that was made for this riverfront had, as its main goal, to draw a recreational area with cafés and free space of constructions. The schemes that are presented here are the result of the search of the functional and contextual existences, that could lead people or constraint its use. As a result the functions of each small area were ranked, looking at the proximity to the river or the rail line, the pedestrian access or the cycling path, connecting the hole.

The renovation of this school was integrated on the Government program for the renova-tion of the secondary schools of Portugal. All the intervention was made studying the con-cepts used, on the 50’s, by the Architects João Vasconcelos Esteves,Eduardo Valente Hilário and Luis Alçada Baptista, that created a green area surrounding the school so it could turn its back to the city. Thinking of this we’ve worked the environmental sustainability, integrating this structure in the green urban infrastructure, without forgetting its importance as architec-tural heritage.

This school appears in a sand area, next to the cost, in the north of the country. The design is made mainly thinking on the existing vegeta-tion, as the pine tree, and the special landscape that surrounds it. The existing pine trees are maintained, according to the constraints of the program and Helichrysum italicum is intro-duced to create a yellow surface that will bring light to all the area.

This detailed plan had an intensive study of the existing situation from the beginning of the city until now, as it is an important part of Lis-bon. This area is mainly constituted by hospi-tals, that need spetial treatment when thinking of changes. Several studies were made so the living characteristics didn’t have to be changed around this equipments, even including some more.
