Designing interior glass doors and windows is one of the most enjoyable part of my professional career

Adapting machines to laminate and cut holes to a 1/32 to fit in a non perfect world

Follow through and check what you do provides a concise prac-tice

Drawings to manufacturing. Watching what I sketch and making it come to life

understandBy doing takeoffs of glass I had first hand experi-ance bidding and fabricating glass from start to finish

adjustMaking a square glass peice fit into a round space is no easy task without the right knowl-edge of metal and glass

enjoySometimes the most simplist forms gives me the most joy by creating a facade for my motor-cylce shop

e x e c u t e

Making every peice fit into place seaminlgly from architect to contractor to fabricator is it imparitive to have the best drawings to clearly communicate ideas

i m a g i n eTo have the sense of danger and control all together Speed to produce and feel adrenaline To poses the cor-

ners with movement and streamline the body and bike to become one

Imagination is nothing without a way to share it with oth-ers. I feel like by using quick sketching and good uses of color produce my ideas very well. The sketch above is a rough drawing of a cottage. Learning to break the rules and go outside the lines adds character to the work I do

To feel the climate change as you enter a valley and to work hard to reach the sun

Climbing the shadows of rocks experiencing cold, the fear of not knowing and the false hope of security that rests on your fingertips

Playing is inspiring. To play a game and imagine . To play in a park is uplifting. To play by using scraps of cardboard to create a city just because it was fun. Mario was created above to just interpret happiness through gesture drawings

Expressing emotion through sound Create feelings through drawings

Analysis is key to a successful project. By using fun color inspiring themes cre-ates a more in depth approach not found in CTRL+C methods. By journalizing projects gives the sense of accomplishments and to learn from errors that were created in the past

Model building is more then a chore. I find it necessary to have tangible object to sketch new ideas from

Refining concepts is a joy. To take a simple idea and mold it. Help it grow into the fabric gives me a great satisfaction

Pushing my limits every project by making the model clear and precise. Wood and tacky glue to make a concept tangible

S c h e m a t i ce m o t i o n refine achieveThriving purely on the human emotion to gain a safe area in an otherwise harmless situation is where I started developing designs

Showing progress in design is essential to me. Even the slightest contour line I play with to get the right setting to push the human experience to higher levels. Like my hobbies even the most safe rope has frays that gives a lifeline character

Seeing your sketches get de-fined to the most c o n c e p t u a l renderings that take days . The finished product is better then any computer rendering. With every pen stroke was carefully planned and ex-ecuted

Math is not just for engineers. To make quick direct decisions by draw-ing and number crunches has saved me numerous hours by simply add-ing up the facts

Finding a inspiration can be talked about or experi-enced or even a thing of the past. Literally. to take an object and readjusting it to make a piece of function that has meaning

Simple model building to define space and interpret the inspiration

To use a mix of media of pen and water-color to infuse my most deepest passions is my lifeline to the community

Showing section cut models to just to get your point across on great design shouldn’t have to have text to tell the story. It should flow and cre-ate a sense of scale

teach practice

By working on projects in the LEED industry i can give a helping hand in sustain-ing an environment for 2030. The project above was a city hall in Onawa Iowa . we strived for LEED Gold

Doing a concept sketch and presenting it to people is exciting to use words with drawings to push the team farther

Helping kids understand sus-tainability on a basic level. From CFLS to recycling. Some-times its enjoying the simple aspects to architecture which makes it fun

On the flip side my play and work can be separated . From LEED projects in the classroom to real life scenarios I can change the scope of work

growAEI is more then a club. Its a way to see if your ideas can stand up to our greatest critic. Engineers. to see if your ideas can withstand rigourous testing and overall probability of success

To help not only in the mind but in the hand. Sometimes you just have to get dirty and pitch in to get the job done

Simple ping pong balls, foam core, and a young mind to aid in building cities is more then satisfying. Its a way to just get a fresh new idea

Everyday I grow, learn and develop new styles. I am moldable and flex-ible. Like a tree in survival or in thriv-ing conditions. Always adapting and growing
