Model For House Design

Salford Quays 2009

University of Manchester

This project was my first major

architectural project in my university

educational background. We were

given the task to develop a house for

a single family on the dock of Salford

Quays.

The design was inspired by the waves The design was inspired by the waves

of the dock to replicate a form, that would

concede in its three levels to allow maximum

sunlight because it was placed in such a

narrow site. Ligh was important for this

project, and my atmospheric work was an

experiment to the influence of light to

my architectural designs.my architectural designs.

In modern day society, a personal branding of your work is important, and allthe more important to be recognised on the internet with such work. I wantedto tap into the potential of this new market of advertising for architects, anddesigned my own personal website.

It contains my personal blog where i talk about my design interests,it has on average 150 hits a month.

It contains a place for my CV to be stored on the internet and downloaded toany computer in .pdf file.

It also contains plenty of space for my portfolio, so there is a place on theinternet where anyone in the world at any time can view my work.
