ARTIST STATEMENT

I have a great sense of fashion and

a pretty creative mind. My interest is to

explore the boundary between fashion design

and fine arts. I am currently pursuing my BA

at London College of Fashion, concentrating

on experiment of contemporary design and ma-

terial exploration. I am now looking for a

5 weeks placement, in order to develop my

professional skills in the industry.

JEWELLRY DESIGN PROJECTS--DECRYPTION

Decryption | Wood & Concrete-resin

The project is related

to the topic of decryption,

which makes me think of terms

about debris, restoration,

exposure and casting. I am

looking into broken buildings

and old concrete buildings in

London, which drives me to the

Brutalism in architecture. I

was inspired by their exposed

concrete constructions, rug-

gedly detailed brickworks and

roughness, which demonstrates

incredibly beautiful aesthet-

ics. You can do more than you

can imagine with the materi-

als.

JEWELLRY DESIGN PROJECTS--FREEDOM

Golden fish is featured in my

sweet childhood memories. I held

my fish tank to wherever I went. We

kept company with eachother until

the day I dreamed that my fish was

able to live happily in the ocean.

Meanwhile, I dreamed about my self

who was living in a big tank just

like my fish. Suddenly, I felt my fish

was actually trapped. Finally, I de-

cided to set my fish free, letting

it went back to the river.Free-

dom is an experimental project,

which is based on the recall of my

childhood memories.
