Population density in Municipality of Asuncion increases from 188 to 199 persons per square kilometer
• With a total land area of approximately 297.39 square kilometers, the population density of Municipality of Asuncion in 2015 was posted at 199 persons per square kilometer. This represents an increase of 11 persons per square kilometer from the population density of 188 persons per square kilometer in 2010. In 2000, there were 158 persons residing in every square kilometer of land.

Household population comprised 99.98 percent of the total population • The household population of Municipality of Asuncion reached 59,311 persons in
2015. This is 3,474 higher than the 55,837 household population reported in 2010, and 12,401 more than the 46,910 household population posted in 2000.
• The household population comprised 99.98 percent of the total population in Municipality of Asuncion, while the remaining 0.02 percent comprised the institutional population or those residing in collective or institutional living quarters such as hotels, hospitals, orphanages and home for the aged, corrective and penal institutions and military camps. Please refer to Table 4 and Figure 2.

Number of households increased by 1,519 from 12,282 in 2010 to 13,801 in 2015 • The total number of households in the municipality in 2015 was recorded at 13,801
higher by 1,519 compared with 12,282 in 2010 and by 4,532 compared with 9,269 in 2000. See Table 5 and Figure 3.
