NOTICE OF PENDING WORKS The retaining wall along the river bank has been found to be unsafe and has been fenced off. A post and rail timber fence with wire mesh and signage has been installed for safety and to minimise the visual impact on wedding ceremonies. The park will be closed for two months from the 1 July 2020 to 31 August 2020 while the retaining wall is repaired. This timeframe is an estimate only and works may take longer than anticipated. During this time no bookings for the park will be taken. Repair dates may change as more detailed planning occurs. Council will liaise with you if there are changes that coincide with your approval date. Please keep in mind when booking Marina Park for your wedding ceremony that there is the possibility that your ceremony may be relocated due to works or as a safety precaution.
