• Social Media is “free” • Engage you customers, get feedback • Observe the conversation• Create a dialogue• Improves SEO (search engine optimization)• Create your voice, build your brand• Schedule your posts • Add value

What you need to think about first…

• Why social media?– Develop goals and objectives, work with a purpose

• Define your audience!– Established partnerships, schools, school

boards/districts, parents & family– What is your audience’s needs?

• Select a theme for your strategy. – Awareness? Sales? Loyalty? – Yes some of these goals will overlap, and lead to the

others, but stick with one!
