Thank you for taking the time to consider Modern Grace Events for your wedding day. We would be honored to introduce ourselves, our company, and ultimately help you plan the wedding of your dreams. We are Jessica Mitschele and Ashlee 

Maragliano, owners & principle planners of Modern Grace Events (MGE for short). We are located in the heart of Scottsdale, Arizona and each year we are privileged to work with couples just like you, all around the world, to craft beautifully styled and 

highly personalized weddings. We love what we do, and we can’t wait to get started on planning your wedding!   

History of Modern Grace Modern Grace Events started over brunch! We (Ashlee and Jessica) have known each other since high school and four 

years ago we went out for brunch to catch up on life, love, and indulge in our second favorite beverage...coffee! (Wine is number one, but then again isn't it everyone's?). At the time, Jess was working at a wedding dress shop as a bridal consultant and Ash 

was working at a financial firm and preparing to attend her fifth wedding that Spring season. We started chatting about weddings and brides and that's when the idea of becoming wedding planners went from a topic of conversation, to an actual 

business plan. Over 6 years, from internships at Arizona Weddings Magazine to sales & consulting for wedding industry businesses, the knowledge we have can only be learned through countless hours of hard work, experience in hands on wedding 

planning & coordination, and working with numerous couples to plan their special event (and of course, lattes!).  Your wedding day is more than just a special event to us- it’s our calling!  

  About the Ladies 

We created MGE because we wanted to work at something that truly intrigued us to go above and beyond, while helping others feel like they are living their best life (even if it’s only for one day!). A Modern Grace wedding uses a modern approach to traditional aspects of your day, while using aesthetically pleasing, luxurious, refined elements to create a timeless experience you’ll look back on with love, forever. Our strong friendship feels like a sisterhood, and when we started working together, we 

realized how well each of our different skills complemented one another. Ashlee being more process driven and Jess being more design-led, brings a fresh outlook on ways to curate a sophisticated, refined, yet entertaining event. We truly feel that life and 

love is worth celebrating, and that making memories with those closest to you is the most important thing. We always say we're in the business of creating magic and that's simply what we do. Your event is more to us then a social gathering, a wedding, a party- it's a memory that will last forever and we will cherish every part of it while making sure you have the time of your life!

Services & Investment  

 

Month of Coordination $2,000  

To ensure you have all your T’s crossed and I’s dotted, we come in 6 weeks before your big day to discuss the details of what you’ve planned so far. You’ve worked hard creating your vision, now we’re here to execute your wedding day with perfection! 

 MGE Coordinators You will have MGE coordinators for approximately 12 hours on your wedding day to supervise vendor deliveries, set up, implementation, and strike. We will also assist you & your fiance as needed and help with the overall guest experience. Vendor Communication Take over of all communication with your vendors, wedding party, and key wedding participants, during the 4 weeks leading up to your event. This means we will request that all calls, emails, and texts come directly to us for any logistical or scheduling questions, ideas, surprises, general questions, etc. so that we may be the main resource for clarification and implementation.  *We require access to your vendor contracts, email chains pertaining to logistics & design, and request that any pending vendor information be sent to us as well.  Ceremony Rehearsal Management We will conduct a mock run through of your ceremony flow with you & your fiance, your wedding party, key family members, and officiant (if applicable). We will make announcements, introductions about our team, and answer any questions during this time. Wedding Day Timeline Your venue(s) and vendors: will be emailed a Finalized Timeline post rehearsal, which will include a vendor contact sheet, any last minute/logistical changes that may have been made during the rehearsal, set up & strike times, vendor meal breaks, and overall production of the event. Setup & Teardown We will setup all of your personal items * , package them up at the end of the night, and give them to a designated family member of your choosing for safe keeping.  *Personal Items Include: Seating chart/cards, Escort display, Guest favors, Guest book, Welcome table, Gifts/Cards table, Table numbers, Dessert table, Place/Name cards, Unity table, Marriage license table, Flower girl basket, Ring bearer pillow, Vow books, and Picture frames). For boxes of additional décor, extra assistance needs to be provided or can be hired through MGE. Please note that we do not set up any florals. 

The Little Details Assistance with the “how tos” and the “where tos” on the wedding day, such as cake cutting, fluff of the dress, bustle the train, grand entrance, first look, sparkler tunnel exit, and more!  Key People We will let anyone that you have elected to participate in the wedding’s events (such as speeches, walking down the aisle, first dances, etc.) know in advance what they are supposed to do, when they will be involved, and where they should be.  Ceremony Coordination Cuing prelude music with the DJ/Soloist, Lining up the officiant, groom, bridal party, groomsmen, key family members, and bride for ceremony processional, overseeing ceremony events, assisting with recessional, and cuing postlude music with DJ/Soloist.  

Vendor Direction Connect with the photographer, videographer, and DJ/Band on upcoming events (Ex: first dance, cake cutting, speeches) to ensure they capture the moments, announce correct names, play correct songs, etc.  Gratuities & Thanks Distribution of final balances, gratuities, thank you cards, and gifts to your vendors & key people on your behalf.  NOTES:  *For separate ceremony location- adding one additional assistant is required to stay at the cocktail hour/reception location to oversee setup and assist vendors as needed. *Weddings with a guest count of 200 guests or higher require additional assistance (customizable during consultation) *MGE assistant flat rate fee- $150.00 *All vendors are responsible for their own setup, items/services, implementation of designs/services, and strike (Florist, Rentals, Catering/Bakery, etc.). *Please send us your floor plan, seating chart, vendor contact information, and design visuals at least six weeks prior to your wedding day.

Wedding Day Design + Planning  $5,000  

This area is primarily focused on the visual elements of your event (stationery, florals, decor, entertainment, unique touches, etc.) as well as experiential elements (the overall ambiance and guest experience). Our goal when working with our clients is to ensure that every 

wedding is cohesive from both a visual and experiential viewpoint - simply put, we create a stunning event that looks and feels well-organized and beautifully executed, but is still reflective of your own personal tastes, unique love-story and overall wedding day 

expectations.  This package includes everything listed in the “Month of Coordination” package plus the following... 

 MGE Coordinators You will have MGE coordinators for approximately 12 hours on your wedding day to supervise vendor deliveries, setup, implementation, and strike. We will also assist you & your fiance as needed and help with the overall guest experience. Design Consultation A comprehensive meeting for complete event design to include all aspect of your wedding day from start to finish. This will include both a visually beautiful event space (floral design, linen colors, lounge area, etc…), as well as a memorable experience for you & your guests. Together we will create a cohesive wedding day vision reflective of your personalized style and unique love story.  *Your overall wedding budget and budget for design elements is required. We will provide you with a budget tracker to help you plan accordingly. 

Showcase Design Mock-Up Included is one design mock-up, to show you in person what your reception tables will look like. These chosen design concepts will compliment the color scheme, entertainment elements, guest experience, and personalized style as discussed during our design consultation. This will include all rentals, florals, and stationery for the reception table. During this time, you will get a glimpse of what your wedding day will visually look and feel like! *You can request additional mock ups and/or additional tables/elements of your day (sweetheart table, ceremony area, seating chart table, etc.) at an additional customized cost. 

Styled Portfolio  We will provide your vendors with a detailed styling portfolio, which will include the designs for each space of your venue (ceremony, cocktail, reception, etc...). The portfolio covers overall theme, room design, color theory, floor plan layout, reception table top design, floral design, wedding day stationery & signage, personal decor, aromas, lighting, backdrops, statement walls, entertainment, etc...  Confirmation Overview During your design showcase, we will walk through each space of your venue with you to reconfirm all event details pertaining to setup, design, decor placement, and flow.  Vendor Meetings We will attend the first vendor meetings pertaining to design (florist, cake, catering, venue, rentals, etc…) either with you or on your behalf to ensure that these elements are aesthetically pleasing, adhere with your vision, work with your budget, and are crafted to perfection. Preferred Vendor List You will receive access to our preferred vendor list which provides you with top-notch professionals in the valley who have exceptional services & products, and who are trusted by us and other professionals in the wedding industry. Our vendors often provide perks, exclusive specials, and promotional discounts for being an MGE referral.

  Entertainment & Talent Recommendations for entertainment and experiences such as an elegant spanish guitarist, photo booth bus, beer burro, carving stations, flair bartenders, tableside wine service, firework show, etc... to make your wedding day unique & personalized to you as a couple. Diagram Creation We will help create your ceremony and reception diagrams to ensure each space is utilized to the best of its ability. We ensure there is proper spacing and that it is comfortable for you and your guests.  Contract Review Prior to booking your vendors, you can send us your vendor contracts so that we may review them for any logistical setup & strike conflicts, ensure that you are receiving a fair deal for the quality service provided, hidden fees, irregular requests, etc... Monthly To Do’s We will provide you with a monthly checklist of tasks/to-dos to keep you on track for the big day. We will check in regularly to ensure completion of these tasks in a timely manner. This allows you and your family to know what & when things should be done so that you’re not overwhelmed with the planning process and booking vendors. Unlimited Communication Feel free to call, text, email, or FaceTime us whenever you have questions, ideas, need advice or just want to chat about anything wedding related. We are your personal “wedding industry Google” and are here to be your resource, your voice of reason, and overall wedding go-to gals! Scheduled Meetings You will get two, one-hour, in person meetings to discuss the wedding topics of your choosing. We can meet for coffee (or wine!) and chat about your wedding, walk through your venue and discuss ideas for the big day, have us tag along during a vendor meeting such as your catering tasting, dress fittings, etc.  NOTES:  *For separate ceremony location- adding one additional assistant is required to stay at the cocktail hour/reception location to oversee setup and assist vendors as needed. *Weddings with a guest count of 200 guests or higher require additional assistance (customizable during consultation) *MGE assistant flat rate fee- $150.00 *All vendors are responsible for their own setup, items/services, implementation of designs/services, and strike (Florist, Rentals, Catering/Bakery, etc.).  

 

Full Service Wedding Planning Experience $7,000  

Our full service wedding package lets you enjoy your engagement and experience the luxury of stress-free wedding planning! We start at the beginning and work with you throughout the entire planning process- from engagement to “I Do!”. We specialize in "fine art" 

wedding styling & are creators of epic, fun, and romantic wedding days. Our approach to your wedding design is heavily influenced by organic, natural and refined elements and careful attention to detail. We love using a modern approach to traditional aspects of your day, as 

well as unique ways to implement your love-story. Your guests will enjoy curated elements & visual experiences that are aesthetically pleasing, and feel harmonious to your venue, color scheme, and are representative to your as a couple. A wedding is a joyous occasion, but a 

Modern Grace wedding ties in luxurious bespoke designs with heartfelt memories for a timeless experience you’ll look back on with love, forever. 

 This package includes everything listed in both of our other packages, plus the following…   Venue Listing 

We will provide you with a list of venue options to tour, all within your budget and style. Whether it be an industrial building, luxurious golf resort, or private estate, we will help you find your perfect location, and walk through each venue with you to discuss planning your dream day on location. Venue Touring Once you’ve narrowed down your venues to the top 3 contenders, we’ll meet you at each location to chat about the pros and cons of each venue, and make sure you choose the perfect venue for your wedding day. Touring typically takes about 3-4 hours from start to finish.  *Multi-day touring is available for an additional cost. 

Budget Management Customized budget tracking system to monitor all of your wedding expenses, overall budget and payment reminders. We will track these finances for you and remind you of any upcoming payment due dates to vendors. RSVP Management

We’ll manage and track of all of your RSVPs and send you updates of the responses by the appropriate deadlines so that you can accurately see who’s attending the celebration.    Guest Accommodations Hotel research, group booking rates, and room blocks will be done on our behalf to ensure that your guest’s overnight needs are being accommodated at the best location, at affordable rates, and that you’re not liable to cover rooms unattended.  Travel & Transport From your arrival to your venue, to your wedding day grand exit, we’ll book on your behalf the vendors needed to help you arrive & exit in style. We will assist with your guest’s transportation to and from hotels, as well as book any discounted group rates with Uber/Lyft for your guests to leave your wedding safely. Thinking of something unique? We have recommendations for you to exit & arrive with a bang! Such as tandem bike rentals, vintage cars, or even an entrance on a horse & carriage.  Guidance & Advice We can help with music selection for dances/processional/recessional/cocktail hour/etc., parent gifts, gifts for your wedding party & family members, guest favors, personalization of your wedding day, and any up & coming wedding day trends you may wish to incorporate. Customs & Traditions Advisement We will assist you with the proper etiquette for certain traditions, cultures, customs, and designs that you wish to implement into your wedding day. We will advise you on what is typical for particular situations and how things are customarily & traditionally arranged/performed for those cultures and traditions.  Gift Assembly We’ll assemble your guest favor & welcome gift bags for your guests to enjoy.  Destination Weddings $Custom Pricing     

 Our global network of strong relationships with out of town/state/country vendors ensures that wherever in the world we are working, our 

high standards of service, event production and flawless design, are deliverable & provide an exceptional experience to you and your guests. No matter where you want to get married, you will have a flawless day! 

Travel Fees  

For out of town weddings, we require cost of hotel per night, flights, rental car, and gas (if driving personal vehicles) to be paid via the client for each planner & assistant needing to travel. We will help find hotel & travel accommodations that are fair & appropriate in price/quality so that you feel comfortable with the cost of the expenses. If you prefer to book accommodations on your own, we request that the hotel be within 5-10 miles of your wedding venue. We will take care of our own meal costs, except for on the wedding day- which requires one hot meal per planner and assistant.  NOTES:

 Lady In Waiting $300 

Our most popular addition to any of our packages! While we execute the vision of your day and coordinate all the behind the scenes action, our Lady In Waiting (LIW) will be by your side from the moment you start getting ready until the end of the night as you make your grand entrance into your reception. Our LIW will cater to you throughout the wedding day, and will make sure that you look flawless during every special moment. Need cold champagne? How about a hot latte while you get your makeup done? Whatever you need, she’s here for you and will go above and beyond to make you look and feel amazing on your wedding day! Wedding Dress Shopping Experience $400 

Enjoy some Champagne or Rosé when you “Say Yes To The Dress!” with our complimentary “I Found The Gown” gift basket. We’ll attend your shopping experience, and provide guidance on choosing the right gown shape for your body, help with finding the perfect designer for your style, accessory styling (veil, belt, jewelry, etc.), and advice on complimenting bridesmaid dress colors. Additional Consultation s $100 (per hour) If you need any additional help or would like to chat about anything pertaining to your wedding, we can assist! We’ll gladly help you with anything from budget creation, to finding the best shop on Etsy for your custom cocktail napkins, or even if you just want to vent (we listen best over wine). We can offer professional advice or provide a sound hear to listen. Just consider us your wedding BFF.
