We had 61 members and guests present to enjoy a time of fellowship and fun. Terry welcomed our guests Elizabeth and Kenny Barnes, from Women of Hope. Beth and Leon Rooks who provide many of our door prizes and goodies for our bags for our show each year from NA- PA. We welcomed back our own Dixie Gurkin and her family. It is always won- derful to see our dear friends. Jessie Lisane prayed to bless our food, our nation, and our club and members before we enjoyed a delicious meal. Terry recognized the current officers and board members and all of those present who were former officers or board members. We were blessed to have many of them in attendance that night. He also recognized our founding members who were present Dixie Gurkin, Horace and Jackie Kenan, Dwight and Wanda Dixon, and Jessie and Jackie Lisane. We thank all of you for your faithful support of our club. Terry also pointed out that this was the 15 th year we have held our Christ- mas Dinner at Bluewater. The first was in December 2000 with a total of 21 people present. What a blessing for us to have grown so strong over the years and still maintained our close, family style of organization. The awards for this year were presented by Terry. JC Edwards won a free year’s membership for being the recruiter of the year and bringing in the most new members. This year it was a very close race with several members inviting and bringing in new membership. Keep it up so our club can continue to grow in strength and friendship. We presented a check for $1,000 to Elizabeth and Kenny Barnes for Wom- en of Hope. This organization reaches out to those suffering from cancer and to their families in New Hanover and Brunswick counties. Thank you so much Eliza- beth and Kenny for all you do to help those in need as they fight this insidious dis- ease. The two major awards that we as a club present are the Les Joyner Award, The Mustanger of the Year, and the Earl Gurkin Award presented to a member owning a first generation Mustang. This year the entire membership voted for the recipient of the Mustanger of the Year award. It was presented to Horace Kenan for all he does to represent the true spirit and soul of the Mustang owner. The first Earl Gurkin Award was presented to Ed Malone. Ed bought his first generation Mustang brand new off the lot and has treasured it ever since. Congratulations to these members on these well deserved awards. The fun, and festive part of our meeting began as the Dirty Santa game was played. Gifts were chosen, stolen, stolen again, and finally claimed. Everyone had a great time as always. Prayer Requests and Praises
Please keep Nell Thomas in your prayers as she is dealing with some health challenges at this time.
Several of our members have ongoing medical needs that are keeping them from our meetings, please keep
these members in your prayers. Please keep Julie McCombs, Judi Mitchell, and Jim Miller. We are de-
lighted that Judi Mitchell was feeling better and was able to attend our Christmas party.
As the new year begins please keep our entire membership in your prayers as each of us has special
memories that not only bring joy but bring a bit of sorrow as we remember our friends and family no longer
on this side of Heaven to celebrate with us.
Also please keep our nation and our military in your prayers as this is a time of turmoil all over the

MUSTANGS DOWN UNDER
For the first time the Ford Mustang has been made in a right-hand drive for the Australian
market. Those who did not preorder one of the 4,000 preorders will have to wait until 2017 to pur-
chase a new Mustang. Mustang Mania has arrived Down Under.
JANUARY 2016 MEETING
The January meeting of the SENCMC will be held on January 10,2016 at 3:00 PM at the Supreme Buffet Hibachi Grille, 209 Freedom Way, Midway Park, NC 28544. The Wilmington members will meet at Costco at 1:15 for a 1:30 depar-ture, and Jacksonville members meet at the restaurant at 2:45. We hope to see every-one there to get our new year off to a great start.

The Southeastern North Carolina Regional
Mustang Club is a chartered club of the Mus-
tang Club of America. We have been with the
MCA since 1993. We are over 100 Mustang
enthusiasts whose general purpose is to en-
courage the enjoyment, maintain the preserva-
tion, and enhance the general knowledge of
Ford Mustang and Shelby cars manufactured
from 1964 to current year models. We hold
monthly meetings, organize car shows and
