Name Explanation: Cheng, to receive; Guang, brightness. The point is at the vertex of the head, where brightness is easily received. Classification:

Specific Points:

Location: On the head, 2.5 cun directly above the midpoint of the anterior hairline and 1.5 cun lateral to the midline. Location (previously defined):

Localization: In sitting position with the head at rest, first locate Quchai (BL 4). The point is located 2 cun directly superior to Quchai (BL 4). Indications: 1) Diseases of Head and Sense Organs: Headache, dizziness, stuffy nose, running nose. 2) Other Diseases: Febrile disease without sweating, vomiting, dysphoria. Mechanism of Action: See Meichong (BL 3) and Tianzhu (BL 10). Method: Puncture subcutaneously 0.3-0.5 cun. Moxibustion is applicable. Acupoint Prescriptions:
