Polymer Concrete Heavy Duty Surfacewater Solutions
• Excavate a hole 100mm deeper and 200mm wider and longer than overall pit size
• Cut an outlet hole of the correct pipe diameter into the side wall of the pit
• Position the pit on a sand bed or a concrete base for applications with vehicle traffic
• Connect and seal drainage pipework at to the pit• Backfill and compact around the pit• Pour a concrete collar around the top of the pit for
vehicular applications 200mm wide x 200mm deep

• Excavate a trench 100mm deeper and wider than the channel• Lay the channel along the trench• Cover grates with tape to protect from concrete splash• Set a string line for the desired finish level• Commence from the outlet end• Drill out the bottom outlet on the lowest channel in the run• Seal this channel to the outlet pipe• Pour concrete into the base of the trench and under
the first channel and set to string line finish height• Lay the remaining channels on the concrete base• Install End Caps• Pour concrete around the sides of the channel• Finish top course 3mm above channel grate• If pavers are used, mortar these into position next to
the channel
