PolyCase_Inceptor_F_ARX_45New for 2015, PolyCase Ammunition has introduced its Inceptor by PolyCase line of lead-free ammunition.
The new PolyCase Inceptor ammo features the companys patent-pending Cu/P projectiles, a proprietary lead-free copper alloy that uses a high-strength nylon binder designed specifically for projectiles. The Cu/P projectiles are lighter and faster than lead, are environmentally safe and range compliant, and are produced using a fully automated injection-molding process and loaded to SAAMI specifications in high quality brass cases.
PolyCase Ammunition approaches ammunition from a different method, leveraging highly engineered designs, advanced materials and patent-pending precision injection molding techniques to create polymer-based components with sound terminal performance. We carefully consider and determine all aspects of how our products are made, to how they function, and own and control the research, development, rapid prototyping, testing and manufacturing processes. From the drawing board up to the finished product, we produce components that are easy to load, durable and highly effective, said PolyCase Founder and CEO Paul Lemke.
The new PolyCase Inceptor ammo will be available in four different bullet profiles:
ARX (Advanced Rotation eXtreme): The ARX is a non-expanding bullet that transfers both the directional and rotational force of the projectile to the target, producing excellent penetration while reducing the risk of over-penetration. Available in .380 Auto, 9mm, .40 S&W and .45 Auto.RNP (Round Nose Precision): The RNP offers reliable performance at the range and is approved for use on steel targets. Available in .380 Auto, 9mm and .45 AutoTNP (Truncated Nose Precision): The TNP combines an engineered concentricity and high velocity for match-grade accuracy. Available in .40 S&W.FireFly: The FireFly is a bright tracer round engineered for training and tactical applications that does not foul or damage the firearms barrel. The FireFly is available in .380 Auto, 9mm, .40 S&W and .45 Auto.
