E. Consideration & Possible Action on a Quote from O'Brien Civil Works to Replace Sidewalk,Driveway, Curb and Gutter's.

Street Superintendent Kendall Kyker reported the city took a tree out at the location of 103 S. Congress Avenue, previously Max Snook was doing the concrete work, but he is no longer doing city work. When the tree was taken down it tore up the area with 164 square feet of sidewalk, 22 square yards of driveway and 48 feet of curb and gutter needing to be replaced by the city. Discussion was held on the O'Brien's quote for East Mason Street of $4,270.00 which was included in the budget for this year, with Street Superintendent Kyker reporting that Brown Construction was also contacted but they do not have time for small projects at this time.

Alderman Jim Busser made a motion to accept the quote from O'Brien Civil Works in the amount of$8,105.00 to replace sidewalk, driveway, curb and gutter atl08 S. Congress A venue, seconded by Alderman Randy Schoon. Mayor Knapp requested the City Clerk call roll on the motion: Alderman Randy Schoon yes, Alderman Jim Busser yes, Alderman Phillip Peterson yes, Alderman Justin Grobe yes, Alderman Troy Boothe yes, Alderperson Cheryl Galor yes. The motion carried.

The City Council adjourned out of the regular session meeting while in closed session at 7:56pm on August 15, 2016.
