• Legislative Power: This is the power to make the laws. The Courts have this power.

• Executive Power: The Government has this power. The President of Government is named by the Courts. There are different ministers.

• Judiciary Power: The judges have this power. The Courts of Justice are in charge of proving that the laws are correctly carried out.

Moncloa Palace

• Located in Madrid. • Built in 1642.• It was destroyed during the

• Is the lower house of the General Courts.

• Made up of a minimum of 300 and a maximum of 400

deputies.• Controls the action of the

• One of the Spanish Royal Family residence since the year 1963.

• Built in the XVII century by the cardinal Don Fernando.

• Has got 3 floors.

President of Spain

• José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero is the 5th and current constitutional president of Spain. He has been in power since 2004.
