Attendance We have two winners this week with amazing attendance of 99.2% …. 1/2AB and 5/6GC The following classes have all earned a star towards their class treat as they were above our attendance target: RAM RWN 1/2AB 1/2JR 3/4NT 5/6GC 5/6OB Polite Requests Parking on Dudley Drive: It has come to our attention that there are cars parking on the zigzag lines and double parking when children are coming in to school and leaving at the end of the day (and over the lunchtime for Nursery and preschool children). We are aware that some of these cars dont belong to school families. On Tuesday the swimming bus could not get through to school due to cars that had double parked. The safety of our children and families is extremely important so please think carefully before parking. Dogs: Dogs are not permitted onto our school site for the safety of children and families. On Wednesday a dog was off its lead just outside of the school gates whilst Nursery and preschool children were being collected, which caused concern. Please keep any dogs on leads or avoid being outside the school gates during drop off and collection times when they are off their leads. Thank you for your support. Our Local Community Dear Parents and Carers, A little while ago we announced the winners of the poster competition to try and help reduce the amount of dog fouling in our local area. Jon, from the Community Protection Team, popped in earlier this week to bring us a copy of the posters and lamppost stickers that have been made up to be put up around the Dudley, Fordley and Annitsford areas. Im sure youll agree they look fantastic and we all hope they will help to remind people to pick up after their dogs whilst out on a walk. Well done again to Rachael, Ronnie, Ryce and Poppy for their fantastic designs. Have a lovely weekend and thank you for your ongoing support of our happy, nurturing and successful school. Kind regards, Mrs C.L. Withers Headteacher

Parking on Dudley Drive:

It has come to our attention that there are cars parking on the zigzag lines and double parking when children are coming in to school and leaving at the end of the day (and over the lunchtime for Nursery and preschool children). We are aware that some of these cars don’t belong to school families. On Tuesday the swimming bus could not get through to school due to cars that had double parked. The safety of our children and families is extremely important so please think carefully before parking.

Dogs:

Dogs are not permitted onto our school site for the safety of children and families. On Wednesday a dog was off its lead just outside of the school gates whilst Nursery and preschool children were being collected, which caused concern. Please keep any dogs on leads or avoid being outside the school gates during drop off and collection times when they are off their leads. Thank you for your support.

Our Local Community

Dear Parents and Carers,

A little while ago we announced the winners of the poster competition to try and help reduce the amount of dog fouling in our local area. Jon, from the Community Protection Team, popped in earlier this week to bring us a copy of the posters and lamppost stickers that have been made up to be put up around the Dudley, Fordley and Annitsford areas. I’m sure you’ll agree they look fantastic and we all hope they will help to remind people to pick up after their dogs whilst out on a walk. Well done again to Rachael, Ronnie, Ryce and Poppy for their fantastic designs.

Have a lovely weekend and thank you for your ongoing support of our happy, nurturing and successful school.

Kind regards,

Mrs C.L. Withers Headteacher
