Polished: RüK Polished cermet coating is a bright polish finish and is similar in appearance to polished aluminum. The Polished coating can withstand temperatures up to 1300°F and will not turn blue or gold like chrome or stainless finishes. This coating prevents thermal fatigue, rust, corrosion, oxidation, and heat buildup, which damage and weaken components, thus increasing component life. The polished coating lowers under hood tempera- tures by keeping the heat inside the exhaust pipe.
