NOTE: For PFD failures on the G500, the only approach option is a GPS approach, using the GPS CDI for course guidance.

All EquipmentVFR Airwork & ManeuversWhen in a familiar area performing VFR maneuver training, all GPS units should be selected to the Traffic page. If two units are present, one may be selected to the Moving Map page.

Aircraft maneuvering will cause errors in the display. These errors primarily affect relative bearing information and traffic target track vector (it will lag).

Traffic information is provided as an aid in visually acquiring traffic. It is the responsibility of the pilot to see and maneuver to avoid traffic.
