      Welcome to my Pokemon Locations Guide for Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White2! This guide discloses where all 600+ Pokemon are to be found in the game withappropriate notes and adendums for maximum clarity. I will provide the specificlocations where this Pokemon can be found, what levels they are found at(respective to each location), and my general thoughts about the easiest way to

    get the Pokemon. As mentioned earlier, to skip to any particular Pokemon,press Ctrl+F simultaneously to launch the Search toolbar on the bottom sectionof your browser, then continue to enter either the specific name of yourPokemon (e.g. Venusaur) or it's respective National Pokedex number (#3). Also,as a general note, this is my first solo text guide, so please bear with mymediocre formatting.

      This section is the meat of the guide and will serve as your primaryresource for finding Pokemon in this guide, and hopefully the game. The Pokemonare divided up into their respective regions (via the National Pokedex Number),and the regions have been split up to reflect the chronological order ofrelease--Kanto [3.2], Johto [3.3], Hoenn [3.4], Sinnoh [3.5], and Unova [3.6].

    However, before we get into the actual Pokemon Locations, this next sectionwill help you use and interpret the guide.

    In this guide, you'll primarily see the sample box I've created below:

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      *Bulbasaur* -----------> Ivysaur -----------> Venusaur  (Lvl 16) (Lvl 32)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Well, there's really only one way to get Bulbasaur because he is not presentin any way in Black 2 or White 2. For this reason, you'll either need to gethim by trading with a friend, or by transferring him from HeartGold orSoulSilver (he can be found there post-game after defeating Red and talking toProf. Oak).

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      Now, before I go off explaining the box you see above, I'm going toexplain a few assumptions I make. Firstly, I assume that if you have one ofthe evolutions/pre-evolutions of the Pokemon, you can easily evolve or breedit to get your desired Pokemon; therefore, I'm not going to put "Breed Ivysaur"or "Evolve Bulbasaur" simply because it would be redundant. Secondly, I'm goingto assume that because you are looking in this guide, you're not particularlyconcerned with spoilers, such as Pokemon names, location names, and certainelements from other games. However, I will not disclose plot spoilers from thisgame whatsoever. Thirdly, I'm going to make the Pokemon whatever gender I wantthem to be in the advice -- Jigglypuffs are female and Garchomp is male as faras I'm concerned. Also, I do not care about the Dream World; not everyone hasaccess to it, so, if you can get a Pokemon that you need from there, that'sgreat for you, but that won't help many other people looking through this

    guide. Finally, I'm going to assume that you read this section, and I'm notgoing to take the time to explain the table setup for every Pokemon.

      Ok, so now I'm going to condense the above table horizontally so I canannotate it.

      (A) - The Header - - The Evolutionary Chain - (B)  | This top row is a condensed This small section is always |  | general information about the third on the list, and simply |  | Pokemon.       |  | +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  | /¯\  (C) - The Locations - |  This is perhaps the most |  important section; it (D) - The Advice -  discloses everywhere this Most Pokemon Locations guides  Pokemon can be found in Black tend to just spit out a location  (if it can be found). and call it good; I attempt to  do more than that by giving you

      my advice as to how you should  go about finding this Pokemon.

     ______________________ |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯|| (A) - Header | The header is mostly for presentation, and allows|______________________| you to easily skip to that section by using the Ctrl + ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ F command pointed out earlier. For example, if youwanted to figure out where you could catch a Pikachu, you could either type in#26 (including the # sign), or you could type in "Pikachu," and cycle through'til you reach the correct Pikachu header. This is the header's main function,though it should help you distinguish one Pokemon from another easily.

     ______________________ |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯|| (B) - Evolutions | Since many Pokemon have evolutionary trees or|______________________| lines, it would likely be helpful to know when and ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ how they evolve, as well as what the Pokemon evolvesinto, if you didn't already know that. I will only put the evolutionary thatdirectly involves the Pokemon in question; for example, I'm not going to puta full Eeveeluton line in Jolteon's Pokemon Location box. It should more orless look like this:

      Eevee ------------> Jolteon  (ThndrStne)

      Here are some general abbreviations that I will use for evolution lines:

     _____________________________ _____________________________ |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯|¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯| |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯|¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯|| Abbreviation | Meaning | | Abbreviation | Meaning ||______________|______________| |______________|______________||¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯|¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯| |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯|¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯|| Lvl __ | Evolves @ | | Lvl @ __ | Evovles upon || | Level __ | | | leveling at ||______________|______________| | | _____ (place)|

    *Most of the time, friendship evolutions require leveling up as well

      Sometimes, a Pokemon will require two or three of the above conditions toevolve. For example, Sneasel will only evolve when he levels up while holdinga Razor Fang at night.

      Sneasel ---------------------------> Weavile  (Hold RazrFang @ Night)  ______________________ |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯|| (C) - Locations | In this section, I'm going to have ALL of the ways|______________________| to find the Pokemon you're looking for. This includes ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ the levels they're found at (if you can find them),every location they're found at. If they aren't found anywhere, I'll put whereto trade from (that I think's easiest). Of course, you can trade from any gameor from friends, but, if you're on your own, the game listed is likely yourbest bet. If the Pokemon is version-exclusive, I'll still put the locationthere even if it isn't the correct game -- chances are that you have a goodshot at finding someone who has the other version in your local area or online.Also, if the Pokemon can ONLY be found via evolution, then I'll put that there.However, that is the ONLY case that I'll put to evolve or breed a Pokemon.

     ______________________ |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯|| (D) - Advice | This is probably the other useful section as it|______________________| tells you where I think the best place to find this ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Pokemon is. This may not always be the first area, orthe area where it has the highest level; it's the place that I find the Pokemoneasiest to catch. Of course, this is mostly my opinion, so you can take it witha grain of salt if you think my opinion stinks. I'm open to suggestions forbetter locations, but I don't want raging emails saying "HURRDURR, YOU DIDN'TSAY ______ SPOT EVEN THOUGH I GOT MINE THERE." I could do without those, thankyou very much.

    in any way in Black 2 or White 2. For this reason, you'll either need to gethim by trading with a friend, or by transferring him from HeartGold orSoulSilver (he can be found there post-game after defeating Red and talking toProf. Oak).

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #2 --- Ivysaur + Seed Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Bulbasaur -----------> *Ivysaur* -----------> Venusaur  (Lvl 16) (Lvl 32)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      The same advice for Bulbasaur applies here: you need to import him fromHeartGold or SoulSilver (as those are the most recent installments with theKanto starters) or import a Bulbasaur and evolve him.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #3 --- Venusaur + Seed Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Bulbasaur -----------> Ivysaur -----------> *Venusaur*  (Lvl 16) (Lvl 32)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Venusaur follows much the same advice as his pre-evos; you need to importhim from another game. Also, if you find it easier, you can possibly get himfrom the Dream World, but trading from HeartGold is most likely easier.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #4 --- Charmander + Lizard Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      *Charmander* -----------> Charmeleon -----------> Charizard  (Lvl 16) (Lvl 32)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      All of the Kanto starters are unavailable in Black 2 or White 2; you musttrade them from one of the Gen IV games to get theevolutionary line. I

  • 8/21/2019 Pokemon Bw 2

    8/155

    recommend using HeartGold or SoulSilver to get the Kanto starters since you candirectly find them post-E4.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #5 --- Charmeleon + Lizard Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Charmander -----------> *Charmeleon* -----------> Charizard  (Lvl 16) (Lvl 36)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Charmeleon can be easily evolved from a traded Charmander. And, to get aCharmander, you need to trade from another game, such as HeartGold, SoulSilver,or move him all the way up fromFireRed or LeafGreen.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +

      [ ] #6 --- Charizard + Lizard Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Charmander -----------> Charmeleon -----------> *Charizard*  (Lvl 16) (Lvl 32)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Charizard can be obtained by either trading him directly from another game(notably HeartGold or SoulSilver) or by trading with a friend. This is reallythe only way to get Charizard since it's impossible to get the Kanto startersdirectly in Black 2 or White 2.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #7 --- Squirtle + Tiny Turtle Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      *Squirtle* -----------> Wartortle -----------> Blastoise  (Lvl 16) (Lvl 36)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Squirtle cannot be directly found in Pokemon Black 2 or White 2 so he mustbe traded to Black 2 or White 2 from another game. Your most notable attempt isto try HeartGold or SoulSilver because the Kanto starters are given out by

  • 8/21/2019 Pokemon Bw 2

    Prof. Oak after defeating Red.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #8 --- Wartortle + Turtle Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Squirtle -----------> *Wartortle* -----------> Blastoise  (Lvl 16) (Lvl 36)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Wartortle may be directly evolved from a traded Squirtle, or may be tradedhimself from another game. Usually, HeartGold and SoulSilver are your bestsource as Prof. Oak hands out Kanto starters late in the post-game.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #9 --- Blastoise + Shellfish Pokemon + K A N T O

      + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Squirtle -----------> Wartortle -----------> *Blastoise*  (Lvl 16) (Lvl 36)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Blastoise, like every other Kanto line, cannot be obtained directly in

    Black 2 or White 2, and must be traded from another another game, or friend. Ifyou're looking for a Blastoise in one of the other Gen IV games, HeartGold andSoulSilver are your best bets, as they allow you to directly get a Kantostarter in the post-game.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #10 --- Caterpie + Worm Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Breed Butterfree (White 2 only)  o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver (Black 2 only)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      *Caterpie* -----------> Metapod -----------> Butterfree  (Lvl 7) (Lvl 10)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      If you have White 2, you're in luck! You can find a Butterfree (see #12;Butterfree) directly in the post-game. For more info on where to find

  • 8/21/2019 Pokemon Bw 2

    10/155

    Butterfree just scroll on down. However, if you don't have White 2 at yourdisposal, you need to trade from a Gen IV game. I find HeartGold and SoulSilverthe easiest since you can catch a Caterpie in the Bug Catching Contest.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #11 --- Metapod + Cocoon Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Evolve Caterpie (White 2 only)  o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver (Black 2 only)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Caterpie -----------> *Metapod* -----------> Butterfree  (Lvl 7) (Lvl 10)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      It's a little trickier to get Metapod because he is only available by firstbreeding a Butterfree (only found in White 2) and evolving the resultingCaterpie. Of course, you could always trade a Metapod from one of the Gen IVgames since he is slightly more attainable in those games (the Bug Catching

    Contest in HeartGold/SoulSilver).

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #12 --- Butterfree + Butterfly Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Pinwheel Forest - Hidden Hollow (approx. Lvl 55) (White 2 only)  o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver (Black 2 only)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Caterpie -----------> Metapod -----------> *Butterfree*  (Lvl 7) (Lvl 10)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Butterfree is directly attainable in White 2 (but not Black 2) post-game inthe Hidden Hollow of Pinwheel Forest. She's around Level 55, so you'll have atougher time catching her than you would other Pokemon. To find the HiddenHollow, you'll want to be inside the actual forest area near the lake in thelower-left. On the western shore, there is tree that is accessable directlynext to the lake, and, should you examine that tree, you'll be able to find aButterfree in there. Of course, if you're in Black 2, you'll need to trade fromanother game whether it be White 2 or a Gen IV game.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #13 --- Weedle + Hairy Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Breed Beedrill (Black 2 only)  o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver (White 2 only)

  • 8/21/2019 Pokemon Bw 2

    11/155

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      *Weedle* -----------> Kakuna -----------> Beedrill  (Lvl 7) (Lvl 10)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Players in Black 2 are able to find a Beedrill (see #15; Beedrill) directlyin a Hidden Hollow in Pinwheel Forest. From there, you can breed Beedrill toget a Weedle; however, if you're White 2, you have to trade from another game.Your best attempt is HeartGold or SoulSilver because Weedle is easily found inthe Bug Catching Contest.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #14 --- Kakuna + Cocoon Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Evolve Weedle (Black 2 only)  o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver (White 2 only)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Weedle -----------> *Kakuna* -----------> Beedrill  (Lvl 7) (Lvl 10)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Players in Black 2 are able to find a Beedrill (see #15; Beedrill), and cancan breed him to yield a Weedle. You can then evolve this Weedle to get yourdesired Kakuna. Players in White 2 can trade from either HeartGold orSoulSilver (Kakuna's can be in the Bug Catching Contest).

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #15 --- Beedrill + Poison Bee Pokemon + K A N T O

      + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Pinwheel Forest - Hidden Hollow (approx. Lvl 55) (Black 2 only)  o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver (White 2 only)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Weedle -----------> Kakuna -----------> *Beedrill*  (Lvl 7) (Lvl 10)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Beedrill is found within the Hidden Hollow inside Pinwheel Forest.Specifically, you'll want to examine a tree near the western shore of thesoutheasternmost lake. If you don't have Black 2, you'll want to trade from anyof the Gen IV games, or with someone who has Black 2.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #16 --- Pidgey + Tiny Bird Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

  • 8/21/2019 Pokemon Bw 2

    12/155

      o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      *Pidgey* -----------> Pidgeotto -----------> Pidgeot  (Lvl 18) (Lvl 36)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Pidgey is not directly found in either Black 2 or White 2, so you need totrade him from another game. Your best bet is HeartGold or SoulSilver, as he isfound many places throughout Johto and Kanto.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #17 --- Pidgeotto + Bird Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Pidgey -----------> *Pidgeotto* -----------> Pidgeot  (Lvl 18) (Lvl 36)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Pidgeotto, like Pidget, cannot be obtained in either Black 2 or White 2;therefore, you'll need to trade him from one of your Gen IV games, or White. Irecommend HeartGold or SoulSilver because Pidgey's are practically foundeverywhere in those games.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #18 --- Pidgeot + Bird Pokemon + K A N T O

      + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Pidgey -----------> Pidgeotto -----------> *Pidgeot*  (Lvl 18) (Lvl 36)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Pidgeot must be evolved from a Pidgey or Pidgeotto, which can be found in

    HeartGold or SoulSilver, or White. I personally prefer the former as Pidgey'sare more widespread there.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #19 --- Rattata + Mouse Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Castelia City Park (approx. Lvl 15)

  • 8/21/2019 Pokemon Bw 2

    13/155

      o Castelia City Sewers (approx. Lvl 16)  o Relic Castle (approx. Lvl 17)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      *Rattata* -----------> Raticate  (Lvl 20)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Out of all those places to find a Rattata, I suggest Castelia City, simplybecause it's the earliest place to find a Rattata, and because you have directaccess to Pokemon-catching items in the city. Also, there isn't very much leveldifference between Castelia City and Relic Castle.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #20 --- Raticate + Mouse Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      o Relic Path (approx. Lvl 29)  o B1F, 1F, 2F - Stranger's House (approx. Lvl 33)  o Dreamyard (approx. Lvl 60)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Rattata -----------> *Raticate*  (Lvl 20)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Raticate is found earliest in Relic Path where he is about Level 29. That'sprobably your best bet unless you'd like to wait for the Dreamyard, which isunwise as that's very late in the game. It should also be noted that you caneasily level-up a Rattata from Castelia City to get him to evolve.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++  + +  [ ] #21 --- Spearow + Tiny Bird Pokemon + K A N T O  + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
