WHAT ABOUT POH?

POH OR PERIODIC OVERHAULS IS DESIGNATED WORKSHOP FOR LOCOMOTIVES

ON YEAR 1974, THE POH WAS SETUP IN BHUSAWAL THE ONLY 2ND WORKSHOP IN INDIA

A NEWLY MADE POH BHUSAWAL MAINTAIN ABOUT 12 LOCOS PER YEAR

Indian railway now a day’s largely are locomotives of electrical variety because at their large advantages over locomotives The electrical locomotive workshop (E.L.W.) repairs and does the necessary maintains at these engine. The locomotive comes to E.L.W. for P.O.H. (periodic overhauling).

Mainly drawback of that POH Bhusawal is that only do maintenance of the loco. THE production and designing of new loco had done only in Chittranjan locomotive workshop (CLW)

WHAT IS LOCOMOTIVE?

Locomotives can run under their own power or can run drawing power from elsewhere, converting fuel into pure kinetic energy that you can feel just by looking at it. And these are just Three types of locomotivesSteam locomotive(the vintage loco)Diesel locomotiveElectric locomotive
