Birds

Many poets write poems about birds soaring through the air I write poems about birds relieving themselves onto peoples

hair You go out on a hot day and a bird relieves itself on you

So you say, what the hey! These birds, giving gifts from above,

Do so without love

I hate rain

I hate rain Even though it causes me no great pain

It makes me sad It makes me raving mad When it rains, it pours

I don’t want to go outdoors.

Seasons

I like to ride my bike in spring It makes me want to sing I like to fly my kite in fall It makes me want to bawl

I like to throw my snow in winter That’s why I am a sprinter

I like to play my drums in summer

The Cloak

The cloak It buries me deep inside

Under layers of words and mind I think it is better to put it on Than to be crude and naked

And open to the cold
