The observable universe Is but a mystery to the human mind To those who can comprehend such beauties As the heavens among us There are many things the human mind does not understand One being the idea of such abundant space In the natural state of the universe there are no barriers No walls No windows To open or close There are no doors That slam in your face When he realizes That maybe You can’t fill the void in his heart When he realizes That we were just like one of those short films That was never meant to be finished We were the flower That never made it to spring The newborn That never took its first breath We had died Before we could ever experience life And then you realize That maybe you just took up space I was nothing but a space The space next to you in your car The space next to you when you slept Open space The universe As known to mankind Consists of open space
