Septembarski broj TRENDOVA, standardno,donosi zaokruène podatke za drugi kvartal,prvo polugo|e i prvih osam meseci teku}e 2008.godine za ve}inu serija, izuzev za serijuNov~ana masa M3, za koju nisu raspoloìvipodaci za mesece jul i avgust zbog primenenovog kontnog plana. Neke serije o cenamaimaju podatke i za septembar teku}e godine.

Baza vremenskih serija, ~iji se sadràjpredstavqa u svakom broju TRENDOVA,pro{irena je jo{ jednom novom serijom izdomena AKTIVNOSTI: Prodaja i otkup proizvoda poqoprivrede, {umarstva i ribarstva - ukupno.

Pod prodajom poqoprivrednih proizvoda sepodrazumeva realizacija, odnosno isporukapoqoprivrednih proizvoda koji poti~u izproizvodwe poqoprivrednih organizacija ipoqoprivrednih jedinica u sastavu nepoqo-privrednih organizacija.

Pod otkupom poqoprivrednih proizvoda sepodrazumeva kupovina, odnosno preuzimawepoqoprivrednih proizvoda neposredno odprivatnih gazdinstava, koju vr{e poqoprivredne,trgovinske, industrijske i druge organizacije uciqu daqe prodaje ili prerade.

Preporu~ujemo na{im ~itaocima specijalnutemu broja o proizvodwi malih preduze}aprera|iva~ke delatnosti gde je predstavqenoistraìvawe kojim od januara 2004. godine,Republi~ki zavod za statistiku prati kretaweproizvodwe u malim preduze}ima na slu~ajnomuzorku (anketi) sa ciqem da dopuni redovnomese~no istraìvawe velikih preduze}a.

As before, September 2007 issue of TRENDSpublication presents data series for the secondquarter and the first eight months of 2008 for mostof the series presented, except for the series Moneysupply M3. As Plan of accounts has changed, thereare no available data on this aggregate for July andAugust. Some prices time series have the data forthe first nine months of the current year.

The time series data bases, which is presented in each TRNDS issue, is now enlarged with a newseries Sales and purchase of agricultural, forestryand fishing products - total, belonging to ACTIVITIES.

Od januara 2004. godine, Republi~ki zavod zastatistiku prati kretawe proizvodwe u malimpreduze}ima na slu~ajnom uzorku (anketi) sa ciqem da dopuni redovno mese~no istraìvawe velikihpreduze}a. Pod malim preduze}ima ovde sepodrazumevaju ona koja imaju mawe od 50 zaposlenih(prose~an broj zaposlenih na osnovu stawa krajemmeseca iz zavr{nih ra~una), a pod velikimpreduze}ima smatraju se ona koja su zbog svojeproizvodwe i veli~ne ukqu~ena u redovnaistraìvawa industrije. Ova podela ne odgovarapodeli preduze}a na mala, sredwa i velika premaZakonu o ra~unovodstvu. Na osnovu podataka oveankete za mala preduze}a prera|iva~ke delatnostiocewuje se indeks proizvodwe za teku}i mesec uodnosu na prosek prethodne godine. Ponderisana sumaindeksa proizvodwe za velika preduze}aprera|iva~ke delatnosti i ocewenog indeksa za malapreduze}a predstavqa ocenu indeksa ukupneprera|iva~ke proizvodwe. Analiza serija ovihindeksa pokazuje da se oceweni indeksi ukupneprera|iva~ke proizvodwe ne razlikuju zna~ajno odindeksa obra~unatih za velika preduze}a u periodu od januara 2004. do avgusta 2008, u proseku su ve}i za 0,32.Uo~qiva je tendencija ve}eg rasta proizvodwe malihu odnosu na proizvodwu velikih preduze}a. Serijedesezoniranih indeksa malih i velikih preduze}apokazuju da mala preduze}a imaju ve}a kolebawa uproizvodwi nego velika preduze}a. Pri tuma~ewu tog varijabiliteta, osim ekonomskih faktora, trebauzeti u obzir da su indeksi malih preduze}a ocene nabazi slu~ajnog uzorka. Trend ciklus komponentamalih preduze}a uz rast izrazitije pokazuje icikli~ne promene u datom periodu. Uprkosrazlikama, proizvodwa u malim i velikimpreduze}ima ima sli~ne tendencije.

SUMMURYStatistical Office of Serbia provides data for

measuring monthly changes in production of smallenterprises since January 2004 when a sample survey has been introduced to supplement the regular monthly survey for large industrial enterprises. Enterprises with less than50 employees are considered as small (monthly averageof number of employees on the end of a month, fromannual financial report) and as large those enterprisesthat are, because of their production and size, included in regular industrial surveys. This distinction between small and large enterprises does not coincide with accountingclassification of enterprises into small, medium and largeenterprises. Estimate of index of industrial production inthe month of the current year with respect to the previous year’s average for small manufacturing enterprises isobtained from this survey. Index calculated for largemanufacturing enterprises is combined with this index,and as a weighted sum, a corrected monthly index of total manufacturing industrial production is derived. Analysisof series of these indices shows that calculated indices for the total manufacturing production do not significantlydiffer from the production indices for largemanufacturing enterprises in the period form January2004 to August 2008, on the average, they are higher for0.32. In addition, in the observed period, production ofsmall enterprises exhibits a tendency of higher growththan production of large enterprises. Seasonally adjustedseries of production indices for small enterprises exhibitshigher variability than the series for large enterpriseswith several extreme values. Trend-cycle components(Henderson curve) for small and large enterprises showthat production in large and small enterprises grows inthis period, though it is faster for small enterprises. Thecycle component is more expressed for small than forlarge enterprises. In spite the differences, production insmall and large enterprises has similar tendencies.

1. UVOD

Promene dru{tveno-ekonomskih prilikakrajem 80-tih godina pro{log veka omogu}ilesu osnivawe preduze}a u privatnom vlasni{tvu i pokretawe procesa tranzicije trì{nojekonomiji. Statistika, koja je do tada pratila

samo rad preduze}a u dru{tvenoj i dràvnojsvojini, morala je da uvodi dopunskaistraìvawa kako bi obuhvatila i rad velikogbroja novonastalih privatnih preduze}a.Tokom 90-tih godina uvedene su ankete,

istraìvawa na bazi slu~ajnih uzoraka, za dopunuredovnih istraìvawa trgovine, zaposlenosti iugostiteqstva. Vremenom diferencijacija naprivatna i ostala preduze}a postaje mawe va`na oddiferencijacije preduze}a na mala i velika, a sveve}e interesovawe pobu|uje rad malih ekonomskihsubjekata.

U istraìvawima industrije, rad malihpreduze}a prera|iva~ke delatnosti prati setek od januara 2004. godine, kada je uvedenomese~no istraìvawe na bazi uzorka. Ovoistraìvawe dopuwuje redovno mese~noistraìvawe IND-1 kojim se prati radvelikih preduze}a industrijske delatnosti.Podaci prikupqeni u anketi koriste se da bise ocenio indeks proizvodwe malih preduze}ai obra~unao indeks ukupne proizvodwe zaprera|iva~ku industriju. Prema podacimazavr{nih ra~una, mala preduze}a ~ine oko87% od ukupnog broja preduze}a koja se bave

prera|iva~kom delatno{}u, a wihovo u~e{}e u ukupnom prihodu od prodaje proizvoda je oko14%.

U ovom radu, nakon kratkog prikazametodologije mese~nog istraìvawa malihpreduze}a prera|iva~ke delatnosti, date suserije indeksa prera|iva~ke proizvodwe. Osimoriginalnih serija indeksa, prikazane su i:serije sezonskih komponenti, desezoniraneserije i serije trend-ciklus komponenti(Hendersonova kriva) za mala i velikapreduze}a industrijske delatnosti.Dekompozicija serija je izvr{ena metodomX-11-ARIMA koja se koristi u Republi~komzavodu za statistiku.

Na osnovu prikazanih rezultata moè sesagledati da li se razvoj malih preduze}aodvija isto kao i velikih i u kojoj meriukqu~ivawe proizvodwe malih preduze}a mewavrednost indeksa prera|iva~ke proizvodwe.

2. METODOLO[KE OSNOVE MESE^NOG ISTRA@IVAWA INDUSTRIJE MALIH PREDUZE]A

Ciq Mese~nog istraìvawe na bazi uzorka(AIND) jeste da se prikupe podaci o ekonomskimaktivnostima skupa preduze}a koji nije obuhva}enredovnim mese~nim istrìvawem, da se ocenimese~ni indeks proizvodwe tog skupa i korigujemese~ni indeks industrijske proizvodwe.

Prikupqaju se podaci:− o prihodu od prodaje proizvoda i usluga

(u prethodnoj godini i teku}em mesecu); − o broju zaposlenih - ukupno, i broju

zaposlenih u proizvodwi;− o prete`noj delatnosti preduze}a i − o stavovima izve{tajne jedinice o

kretawu u odnosu na prethodni mesec(lo{ije, isto, boqe) plasmana proizvoda,novih narudxbenica, nabavki sirovina,nabavki energije i goriva i ekonomskepolitike.

Osnovni skup istraìvawa AIND ~inepreduze}a koja se bave aktivnostima u okviruprera|iva~ke industrije, koja imaju mawe od 50zaposlenih i koja nisu obuhva}ena redovnimistraìvawima u industriji.

Okvir za izbor uzorka za godinu tistraìvawa formira se na bazi Statisti~kog

poslovnnog registra (SPR) od 31.12. godine t-1i ~ini ga skup preduze}a koji ispuwava slede}euslove:

− da im je status registracije aktivan;− da imaju mawe od 50 zaposlenih;− da im je prete`na delatnost (statisti~kog

preduze}a u SPR-u) iz oblasti prera|iva~keindustrije (oblasti 15-37 NACE rev. 1.1);

− da nisu ukqu~ena u mese~na i godi{waistraìvawa industrije (IND-1 i IND-21);

− da su predala zavr{ni ra~un za godinu t-2.

Kona~an okvir se formira iskqu~ivawem 5%najmawih. Nakon toga okvir se stratifikuje premaveli~ini na {est stratuma. Veli~ina preduze}autvr|ena je prema prihodu od prodaje proizvodai usluga ili prema tro{kovima materijalapreduze}a, u zavisnosti od toga koji je podatakiz zavr{nih ra~una raspoloìv1. Jedan stratum ~ine najve}a me|u malim preduze}ima. Ostalapreduze}a su razvstrana u 5 stratuma jednakihpo veli~ini. Od 2006. godine stratifikacijaokvira je izvr{ena, osim po veli~ini, i premateritoriji na centralnu Srbiju bez Beograda,Beograd i Vojvodinu. Na taj na~in se postiè

ve}a homogenizacija preduze}a po stratumima i boqa kontrola alokacije uzorka po teritoriji.

U Tabeli 1. dati su podaci o ukupnom brojupreduze}a prera|iva~ke delatnosti, o brojumalih preduze}a, o broju preduze}a u okviru za izbor uzorka i obimu uzoraka za period od 2004. do 2008. godine. U Tabeli 2. dati su podacio broju preduze}a i alociranom uzorkupo stratumima. Stratum 1 sadr`i najmawa

preduze}a prema meri veli~ine dok stratum 6sadr`i najve}a mala preduze}a i ona sepopisuju.

U 2004. i 2005. godini, izbor uzorka unutarstratuma bio je sistematski, pri ~emu sujedinice prethodno sortirane po delatnosti iteritoriji. Od 2006. godine, uzorak unutarstratuma je prost slu~ajan.

Ocene totala, koli~nika i proporcijaizvode se po standardnom postupku zastratifikovan prost slu~ajan uzorak. Ocenaindeksa industrijske proizvodwe, za teku}imesec u odnosu na prosek prethodne godine,odre|uje se kao koli~nik ocene mese~nogprihoda od prodaje proizvoda i ocene prose~nogprihoda od prodaje proizvoda prethodne godine.

Prethodno se mese~ni prihodi jedinicarealizovanog uzorka svode na stalne cene,odnosno prose~ne cene prethodne godine uodgovaraju}oj oblasti delatnosti po slede}emobrascu:

Prihodm - Mese~ni prihod ostvaren od prodaje proizvoda i usluga i izraèn u teku}im cenama;

I - Indeks cena proizvo|a~a industrijskih proizvoda za teku}i mesec prema prosekuprethodne godine;

Prihodmd - Mese~ni prihod ostvaren od prodaje proizvoda i usluga i izraèn u stalnimcenama (u cenama odgovaraju}eg meseca prethodne godine).

Pri svo|ewu na stalne cene koriste seindeksi cena za teku}i mesec u odnosu naprosek prethodne godine mese~nog saop{tewaRZS Indeks cena proizvo|a~a industrijskihproizvoda za Republiku Srbiju.

Relativne gre{ke ocena mese~nih indeksaindustrijske proizvodwe malih preduze}a zaSrbiju su oko 5% u posmatranom periodu odjanuara 2004. do avgusta 2008. Ove gre{ke sepostiù sa malom realizacijom uzorka, (oko35%), pa je mogu}a izvesna pristrasnost ocena.Slab odaziv preduze}a je posledica na~inaanketirawa (putem po{te i telefonom) irelativno kratkog vremenskog perioda zaprikupqawe podataka.

Zvani~no objavqeni podaci u mese~nomsaop{tewu Indeski industrijske proizvodweodnose se na proizvodwu velikih preduze}a. Unapomeni Saop{tewa daje se i ocena indeksaukupne prera|iva~ke industrije za Srbiju(integralni indeks) u ~iji obra~un ulazi iocena indeksa malih preduze}a.

Integralni indeks prera|iva~keproizvodwe odre|uje se sabirawem, uzodgovaraju}u ponderaciju, indeksa proizvodwevelikih preduze}a i indeksa proizvodwe umalim preduze}ima

gde su ,I vI i mI redom indeksi ukupneprera|iva~ke proizvodwe, indeks obra~unat za

velika preduze}a i indeks ocewen na baziankete malih preduze}a, a β je ponder za malapreduze}a. Za odre|ivawe pondera kori{}enisu podaci zavr{nih ra~una, pri ~emu su za 2004, 2005. i za 2008. godinu kori{}eni podaci oprihodu od prodaje proizvoda i usluga, a za2006. i 2007. godinu, podaci o ukupnimtro{kovima materijala. Ponder za malapreduze}a jednak je u~e{}u malih preduze}a uukupnom prihodu od prodaje proizvoda i uslugapreduze}a prera|iva~ke delatnosti. Za 2006. i2007. godinu ova u~e{}a su procewena na baziu~e{}a malih preduze}a u ukupnim tro{kovima materijala preduze}a prera|iva~ke delatnostiprema zavr{nim ra~unima 2005, odnosno 2006.godine.

U Tabeli 3. data su u~e{}a (ponderi) zaodre|ivawe integralnog indeksa prera|iva~keindustrije - ukupno za teku}i mesec u odnosu na prosek prethodne godine.

3. REZULTATI ISTRA@IVAWA

U Tabeli 4. date su serije indeksaprera|iva~ke proizvodwe za velika preduze}a(zvani~no objavqeni indeks), za mala preduze}a(indeks ocewen u anketi) i serija indeksaukupne prera|iva~ke industrije (indeks jeponderisana suma indeksa velikih i indeksamalih preduze}a). Date su i razlike

integralnog indeksa i indeksa velikihpreduze}a. Ove razlike predstavqaju vrednosti za koje bi se objavqeni indeks prera|iva~keproizvodwe (mesec na prosek prethodne godine) promenio kada bi se u obra~un ukqu~ilaproizvodwa malih preduze}a. Prose~navrednost razlika je 0,32, i standardna

devijacija 1,08. Sa pouzdano{}u od 95% razlike su u intervalu –1,80 do 2,44. Medijalna vrednost je 0,22 i ona je mawa od prose~ne vrednosti(0,32), tako da je raspodela razlika blagoasimetri~na udesno. To zna~i da ima vi{eve}ih pozitivnih razlika nego ve}ihnegativnih razlika. Iz intervala poverewavidi se da ima vi{e {ansi da razlike budupozitvne nego negativne. Osim, toga brojnegativnih razlika je najve}i u 2004. godini

kada ih je bilo 9, a opada sa vremenom tako da u2007. i 2008. godini ima samo po jedna negativnarazlika, i to u januaru. Na kraju mo`e da sezakqu~i da, iako ukqu~ivawe proizvodwemalih preduze}a u obra~un indeksaindustrijske proizvodwe ne uti~e zna~ajno,rast ukupne prera|iva~ke proizvodwe imatendenciju da bude ve}i nego {to je rastproizvodwe u velikim preduze}ima.

4. DEKOMPOZICIJA SERIJA INDEKSA PRERA\IVA^KEPROIZVODWE

Da bi se boqe sagledale tendencije razvojaserija indeksa industrijske proizvodwe malihi velikih preduze}a, serije su svedene nastalnu bazu (baza 2005. godina) i predstavqeneu formi multiplikativnog modela:

Dekompozicija serija ura|ena je metodomX-11-ARIMA. Rezultati su prikazani nagrafikonu 1. Grafikon, osim originalnihserija indeksa proizvodwe velikih i malihpreduze}a, prikazuje i serije sezonskihkomponenata, desezonirane serije, serijetrend-ciklus komponenti i serije iregularnihkomponenti.

Sa Grafikona 1. se vidi da vrednostiindeksa prera|iva~ke proizvodwe originalneserija malih preduze}a u nekim mesecimaznatno odstupaju od odgovaraju}ih vrednostiindeksa velikih preduze}a, kao {to je to slu~aju aprilu i decembru 2004. u januaru 2006. i odmaja 2007. godine (izuzev u januaru 2008).Uprkos tome ovi indeksi pokazuju sli~nokretawe proizvodwe malih i velikihpreduze}a.

Izme|u serija sezonskih komponentiindeksa proizvodwe malih i velikihindustrijskih preduze}a nema zna~ajnijihrazlika, {to zna~i da isti sezonski fakorideluju i na mala i na velika preduze}a. Jedinose moè primetiti da velika preduze}a imajune{to ve}i pad proizvodwe u avgustu, a ne{tove}i rast u oktobru od malih preduze}a.

Desezonirana serija indeksa proizvodwevelikih preduze}a ima mawa kolebawa uposmatramom periodu od odgovaraju}e serijemalih preduze}a, koja je nestabilnija sanekoliko iznenadnih skokova i padova. Odfebruara 2007. godine, proizvodwa u malimpreduze}ima ima ve}i rast od proizvodwe uvelikim preduze}ima.

Trend-ciklus komponenta indeksaprera|iva~ke proizvodwe velikih, u perioduod 2004. do avgusta 2008. godine, pokazuje blagirast. Kriva trend-ciklusa malih preduze}a uposmatranom periodu pokazuje rast proizovdwekoji je, osim na po~etku posmatranog perioda,ve}i ili jednak rastu proizvodwe velikihpreduze}a. Mada cikli~na kolebawa nisuvelika, postoje u obe serije. Znatno suizrazitija u seriji za mala preduze}a {to moèda ukaè na to da taj skup preduze}a o{trijereaguje na uzroke kowuktrurnih promena.

Serija iregularne komponente indeksaproizvodwe malih preduze}a ima ve}eoscilacije od odgovaraju}e serije velikihpreduze}a. Na primer, ekstremne vrednostiiregularne komponente indeksa proizvodwemalih preduze}a su u junu i decembru 2004, ufebruaru i novembru 2005, u januaru i martu2006, i u januaru i julu 2008. godine.

Deo varijabilteta originalne idesezonirane serije mogu se pripisatislu~ajnim varijacijama. Pri tuma~ewuvarijabiliteta serija indeksa malih preduze}a,osim ekonomskih faktora, treba uzeti u obzirda su indeksi malih preduze}a ocene na bazislu~ajnog uzorka. Obim uzorka je oko 300jedinica i realizacija je mala (oko 35%) teocene sadrè i uzora~ku gre{ku i gre{kuneodgovora.

5. ZAKQU^NE NAPOMENE

Mese~ni indeksi prera|iva~ke proizvodwe(mesec u odnosu na prosek prethodne godine) nebi se statisti~ki zna~ajno promenili (p=0,05)u periodu od januara 2004. do avgusta 2008.godine ako bi se u wihov obra~un ukqu~ila iproizvodwa u malim preduze}ima. U proseku biindeks bio ve}i za 0,32. Sa verovatno}om od95% interval sa granicama -1,80 i 2,44 sadr`i

razlike integralnog indeksa i indeksa velikih preduze}a.

Proizvodwa u malim preduze}ima imasli~no kretawe kao u velikim preduze}ima ali pokazuje ve}a kolebawa. Od aprila 2007.proizvodwa u malim preduze}ima ima ve}i rast od proizvodwe u velikim preduze}ima.

UVODNA NAPOMENA:

Respektuju}i interes na{ih korisnika, i daqe }emo objavqivati tekst o bazi vremenskih serijau RZS i wihov spisak iz prethodnih brojevaTRENDOVA (Mart 2004. do Jina 2008.) sametodolo{kim izmenama koje su u me|uvremenunastupile (izmene u nazivu, ili uvo|ewe noveserije).

Nove serije, dodate u teku}oj godini, suozna~ene tako {to su {ifre takvih serijapodvu~ene. Ova oznaka se uobi~ajeno ponavqa udva uzastopna broja TRENDOVA.

U odnosu na prvi broj, u spisku serija je svakiput aùrirana informacija o ukupnom brojuserija po pojedinim aktivnostima i duìnamaserija u vremenu.

U prethodnom broju TRENDOVA (jun 2008.godine) dodato je pet serija iz oblastimonetarnog sektora: nov~ani agregat M1 (gotovnovac u opticaju i depozitni novac), nov~aniagregat M2 i nov~ani agregat M3, u realnomizrazu.

U ovom broju TRENDOVA dodata je jednaserija iz oblasti aktivnosti (Prodaja i otkupproizvoda poqoprivrede, {umarstava i ribarstva- ukupno, vrednost u RSD).

Duì niz godina, u dràvnoj statistici (SFRJugoslavije, SR Jugoslavije, Srbije i Crne Gore, i sada Republike Srbije) postojala je i odràvalase baza vremenskih serija nastala iz podatakazvani~ne statistike i preuzetih podataka drugihdràvnih institucija.

Sve serije u bazi vremenskih serija, su serijeekonomskih pokazateqa. Promene u metodologijamapojedinih oblasti primewene su prera~unavawempostoje}ih vremenskih ta~aka u seriji premanovim pravilima, ili skra}ivawem serija, ili na neki drugi na~in. U svakom slu~aju, uvek senastojalo da se o~uva skup pokazateqa uporedivih u vremenu.

Od januara 2004. godine, postoji bazavremenskih serija za Republiku Srbiju (koja jemetodoloski i sadràjno nastavak prethodnih).

INTRODUCTORY NOTE:

Respecting interest of our readers, the following textand the list of series from the data base of StatisticalOffice of the Republic of Serbia is being repeated from the previous issues of this publication (March 2004 to June2008). Some methodological changes have been made inthe meantime (names of some series have been changedor some new ones have been added).

New series are marked by underlining the code ofeach one in the list added in current year. Thisassignment is usually repeated in two successive issuesof Trends.

Information concerning the series’ length and thetotal number of series for the specific group of economicactivities are always accurate.

In previous (June 2008) issue of TRENDS, fiveseries have been added referring monetary sectors.Those are monetary aggregates: money supply M1 (cash in circumlocution and sight deposits), money supply M2and money supply M3, in real terms.

Starting this issue, a new series has been included,referring activities (Sale and purchase of agricultural,forestry and fishing products - total, value in RSD).

During certain number of years, time series data base was established and maintained by state statistics (of SFRYugoslavia, SR Yugoslavia, Serbia and Montenegro, andnow by statistic of Republic of Serbia). The base wasobtained from data collected by official statistics and data provided by other public institutions.

All the established series are the economic ones. Anymethodological change that appeared was applied byeither recalculating previous data according to new rules or by cutting the series, or in some other, appropriateway. In any case, there was always the intention tomaintain the data comparability in time.

Since January 2004, the time series data base forRepublic of Serbia has been established, being thecontinuation of the previous bases from methodologicaland contents point of view.

Istovremeno su se stekli uslovi za jednukrucijalnu izmenu u metodologiji evaluacijevremenskih serija. Serije odgovaraju}ihoblasti prikazuju se prema Klasifikacijidelatnosti (KD) koja se primewuje od januara2001. godine, a u znatnoj meri se razlikuje odJedinstvene klasifikacije delatnosti (JKD)koja je bila u primeni vi{e od 20 godina. Deopodataka po KD statistika prikupqa odjanuara 2004, dok su podaci za prethodne mesece dobijeni kompilacijom starih podataka iz JKDu KD.

U TRENDOVIMA, se daje kompletan sadr`ajbaze vremenskih serija (TRENDAGREGAT iTRENDINDEKS), to jest spisak svih serija kojese prate, od kojih je samo odre|en brojprezentovan u publikaciji. Serije su prikazanepo grupama prema oblasti ekonomskeaktivnosti kojoj pripadaju.

Sve serije su podeqene fizi~ki ifunkcionalno u dve paralelne baze:TRENDAGREGAT - TAGR baza vremenskihserija apsolutnih vrednosti pra}ene pojave, iTRENDINDEKS - TIND - baza vremenskihserija koje se prate iskazano u baznim ililan~anim indeksima.

At the same time, the crucial change inmethodology of time series evaluating could be applied as the new circumstances in statistics were appeared.Time series data (for appropriate sectors) arepresented in terms of Classification of Activities (CA),which has been applied since January 2001.There arequite differences between CA and UniformClassification of Activities (UCA), which had been inuse for over twenty years. Statistics has been collecting data by CA methodology for some of the sectors sinceJanuary 2004, while data for previous months havebeen obtained by compiling data collected by UCAmethodology.

In TRENDS publication the full content of timeseries data bases (TRENDAGGREGATE andTRENDINDEX) is listed, but only the part of them ischosen to be presented in the publication. The way ofgrouping series is due to the sector of economicactivity they belong to.

All the series provided by statistics are divided into two parallel data bases:

TRENDAGGREGATE - TAGR time series database covering data in terms of absolute values, and

TRENDINDEX - TIND - time series data basecovering data in terms of base or chain indices.

The six digit code is added to each of the series.The last, the sixth digit defines the type of series data:

*0* - for index data, and

*1* - for absolute values data.

The series of industry statistics, referring toproduction and stocks, as well as the series of pricesdo not have aggregates.

AKTIVNOSTI ACTIVITIESUkupna industrijska proizvodwa je ve}a za 3,3%

u junu i za 3,5% u julu, dok je u avgustu mawa za 4,6%,u odnosu na prose~nu proizvodwu 2007. godine.Mese~ne stope rasta za jun, jul i avgust iznose 1,1%,0,2% i -7,8%. Posmatrano u odnosu na jun, jul iavgust pro{le godine, ukupna industrijskaproizvodwa raste, odnosno pada po stopama od 1,9%,5,4% i -4,4%, respektivno. Za prvih osam meseci2008. godine, proizvodwa je ve}a za 3,2% u odnosu na isti period prethodne godine, a za 0,5% mawa uodnosu na prosek 2007. godine.

Posmatrano po ekonomskoj nameni, u odnosu naprosek 2007. godine, u junu, julu i avgustu ostvarenesu stope: u prizvodwi energije -12,1%, -1,9% i -6,6%;u prizvodwi intermedijarnih proizvoda, osimenergije 11,9%, 10,6% i 0,8%; u proizvodwikapitalnih proizvoda 21,4%, 17% i 0,0%; uproizvodwi trajnih proizvoda za {irokupotro{wu -4,5%, -4,9% i -0,1%, i u proizvodwinetrajnih proizvoda za {iroku potro{wu 5,6%,8,1% i -8,6%. Godi{we stope za jun, jul i avgustiznose u proizvodwi: energije 1,7%, 3,6% i 1,1%;intermedijarnih proizvoda, osim energije 6,1%,5,6% i -6%; kapitalnih proizvoda 16%, 11,6% i1,6%; trajnih proizvoda za {iroku potro{wu-4,5%, -4,9% i -0,1%, i netrajnih proizvoda za{iroku potro{wu -0,8%, 8,1% i -8,6%.

Gra|evinska aktivnost merena ~asovimarada na gradili{tima preduze}a, u drugomkvartalu 2008. bila je ve}a za 4,3% od proseka2007. godine a za 4% od drugog kvartala pro{legodine. U prvom polugo|u 2008. gra|evinskaaktivnost je ve}a za 2,5% nego u prvompolugo|u 2007, a mawa za 5,7% od proseka 2007.godine.

Obim ukupne saobra}ajne aktivnosti u drugomkvartalu 2008. bio je ve}i za 6,4% od proseka 2007,odnosno ve}i za 7,4% od ukupno ostvarenihsaobra}ajnih usluga u drugom kvartalu prethodnegodine. U prvom polugo|u 2008. ukupna saobra}ajnaaktivnost je ve}a za 5,1% nego u prvom polugo|u2007, a mawa za 3,3% od proseka 2007. godine. U prvojpolovini ove godine, u ukupnoj saobra}ajnojaktivnosti dominira putni~ki (73,9%), u odnosu nateretni (26,1%) saobra}aj.

Turisti~ka aktivnostivnost merena ukupnimbrojem no}ewa turista, u junu, julu i avgustu bele`imese~ne stope rasta od -6,8%, 8,4% i 8,8%. Godi{westope ukupnih no}ewa za jun, jul i avgust iznose 0,5%,-9,9% i -1,8%. U odnosu na prosek 2007. godine, ukupnano}ewa rastu u junu za 14,1%, u julu za 23,7% i uavgustu za 34,7%. Za prvih osam meseci 2008. za 0,04%je mawe no}ewa u odnosu na isti period pro{legodine. U istom periodu je broj no}ewa doma}ihturista pove}an za 1%, dok su no}ewa stranihturista smawena za 4,2%, u odnosu na prvih osammeseci 2007. godine.

Total industrial production increased by 3.3% inJune and by 3.5% in July, while it decreased by 4.6%in August, with respect to the average production in2007. Monthly change rates in June, July and Augustamounted to 1.1%, 0.2% and -7.8%, respectively.Comparing to June, July and August last year, totalindustrial production has been changing by 1.9%,5.4% and -4.4%, respectively. In the first eight months in 2008, industrial production increased by 3.2% withrespect to the same period last year, and decreased by0.5% with respect to the average in 2007.

Observed by economic use, with respect to theaverage in 2007, the realized rates in June, July andAugust were: in production of energy -12.1%, -1.9%and -6.6%; in intermediary production, except energy 11.9%, 10.6% and 0.8%; in production of capitalgoods 21.4%, 17% and 0.0%; in production ofdurable products for consumption -4.5%, -4.9%,-0.1% and of non-durable products for consumption5.6%, 8.1% and -8.6%. Yearly rates in June, Julyand August amounted to 1.7%, 3.6% and 1.1% inproduction of energy; 6.1%, 5.6% and -6% inintermediary production, except energy; 16%, 11.6%and 1.6% in production of capital goods; -4.5%, -4.9%and -0.1% in production of durable products forconsumption, and -0.8%, 8.1% and -8.6% of non-durable products for consumption.

The volume of construction activity, expressed byhours of work on construction sites in enterprises, inthe second quarter of 2008, was 4% above the averagein 2007, and 4% above the value attained in the secondquarter of the previous year. In the first six months in2008, the construction activity increased by 2.5% withthe respect to same period of the previous year, but itdecreased by 5.7% with respect to the average in 2007.

The volume of transport activities in the second quarter of2008 was 6.4% above the average in 2007. In the secondquarter of 2008, this activity increased by 7.4% in comparisonwith the second quarter of the previous year. In the first sixmonths in 2008, the transport activities increased by 5.1% with the respect to same period of the previous year, and it decreasedby 3.3% with respect to the average in 2007. In total transportactivity, the passengers’ transport are dominant (73.9%)compared with freights’ transport (26.1%) in six month in 2008.

Monthly rates in tourist activity, measured by totalnumber of tourist nights, amounted in June to -6.8%, inJuly to 8.4% and in August 8.8%. Annual rates in June,July and August were 0.5%, -9.9% and -1.8%,respectively. With respect to the average in 2007, therewere increases recorded: 14.1% in June, 23.7% in Julyand 34.7% in August. In the first eight months in 2008,tourist activity was 0.04% below the level realized inthe same period last year. In the observed period, thenumber of domestic tourist nights increased by 1%,while the number of foreign tourist nights decreasedby 4.2%, compared to the first eight months in 2007.

Ukupne zalihe industrijskih proizvoda ujunu, julu i u avgustu opadaju po mese~nimstopama od 1%, 2,5% i od 2,7%. U odnosu naiste mesece prethodne godine, godi{we stopepokazuju rast: 2,9% za jun, 4,4% za jul i 6,9% za avgust. Ukupne zalihe, u prvih osam meseci2008. ve}e su za 3% u odnosu na isti period2007, dok su od proseka 2007. godine ve}e za 2%.

U periodu januar-avgust 2008, u odnosu naisti period 2007, smawene su zalihe energije za4,6%, zalihe kapitalnih proizvoda za 3,7% izalihe intermedijarnih proizvoda, osimenergije za 2,2%. Zalihe trajnih proizvodapove}ane su za 27,9%, dok su zalihe netrajnihproizvoda za {iroku potro{wu pove}ane za6,5% u odnosu na isti period pro{le godine.

Promet u trgovini na malo u preduze}ima, u teku}im cenama u junu ove godine je mawi za3,1% i u stalnim cenama za 4,3 %, u odnosu napromet ostvaren u maju. U julu je, u odnosu najun, u teku}im cenama ve}i za 0,1% a u stalnimje ostao na nivou juna, dok u avgustu bele`i padod 2,5% nominalno i 1,2% realno. U periodujanuar-avgust 2008. godine teku}i promet utrgovini na malo ve}i je za 22,2%, a u stalnimcenama za 6,8% u odnosu na isti period 2007.godine.

Ukupna naplata javnih prihoda zafinansirawe javne potro{we u prvih osammeseci 2008. nominalno je ve}a za 15,1%(realno za 0,7%) u odnosu na isti period 2007.godine. U istom periodu (januar-avgust 2008)prihodi i primawa buxeta i drugih korisnikanominalno su ve}i za 14,2% (realno mawi za0,02%) u odnosu na isti period prethodnegodine, a i prihodi organizacija socijalnogosigurawa su nominalno pove}ani za 17,4%, arealno pove}ani za 2,8%. Kvartalnoposmatrano, mawe dinami~an rast u drugomkvartalu imali su prihodi fondova socijalnog osigurawa (nominalno za 17,6%, realno za1,6%) u odnosu na ukupno napla}ene prihode(nominalno za 18,3%, realno za 2,1%) iprihode i primawa buxeta (nominalno za18,5%, realno za 2,3%).

Budu}i da je rast tro{kova `ivota u Srbiji u kumulativnom periodu (od 14,3%) i drugomkvartalu (od 15,8%) bio ve}i od realnog rastajavnih prihoda, prihoda buxeta i prihodaorganizacija socijalnog osigurawa, wihovarealna vrednost nije je ostala o~uvana.

Total stocks of manufactured industrial productsdecreased in June by 1%, in July by 2.5% and inAugust by 2.7%. With respect to the same months lastyear, these rates amounted increase of 2.9% in June, of4.4% in July and of 6.9% in August. In the first eightmonths in 2008 the total stocks of manufacturedindustrial products, increased by 3%, comparing to thesame period 2007, and with respect the average 2007,they increased by 2%.

In the period January-August 2008, compared to thesame period 2007, stocks of energy recorded 4.6%decrease, as well as stocks of capital goods by 3.7% andstocks of intermediary goods, except energy by 2.2%..Stocks of durable goods increased by 27.9%, and stocks of non-durable consumer goods increased by 6.5%, with therespect to the same period last year.

Turnover of goods in retail trade in enterprises inJune nominally decreased by 3.1% (current prices),and by 4.3% (constant prices), according to turnoverof goods in May. In July, with the respect to June, itincreased by 0.1% in current prices, while in constantprices it amounted the level attained in June. In Augustit decreased by 2.5% nominally and by 1.2% in realterms. In the period January-August 2008, turnover ofgoods in retail trade in enterprises increased by 22.2%(current prices), and by 6.8% (constant prices),comparing to the same period last year.

Collection of gross public revenues for financingpublic consumption increased nominally by 15.1% (inreal terms by 0.7%) in the first eight months in 2008,comparing to the first eight months in 2007. In thesame period (January-August 2008), budget and other users’ revenues increased nominally by 14.2%, (inreal terms they decreased by 0.02%), and socialsecurity organizations revenues recorded 17.4%nominal increase, and 2.8% increase in real terms,with respect to the same period last year. Quarterlyobserved, less dynamical growth was recorded incollection of gross public revenues (nominally 17.6%,in real terms 1.6%) then it was recorded in budgetincomes and revenues (nominally 18.3%, in real terms 2.1%), and in social security organizations (nominally 18.5%, in real terms 2.3% decrease).

Bearing in mind that the increase of consumer

prices in Serbia in these periods (January-August

indices 14.3%) and second quarter (by 15.8%) was

above the real increase of public revenues, their real

value was not maintained.

SPOQNA TRGOVINA EXTERNAL TRADE

Ukupan izvoz roba u prvih osam meseci 2008.godine dostigao je 6,8 milijardi USD i bio jeve}i za 36,3% u odnosu na isti period prethodne godine, a za 29,3% ve}i od prose~nog izvoza 2007.godine. U istom periodu realizovan je ukupanuvoz u iznosu od 15,8 milijardi USD, {to je za40% vi{e nego u istom periodu prethodnegodine i za 28,8% vi{e od prose~nog uvoza 2007.godine.

Ukupan spoqnotrgovinski deficit roba uprvih osam meseci 2008. godine iznosio je 9milijardi USD i ve}i je za 42,9% od deficita uprvih osam meseci pro{le godine. Deficitspoqne trgovine u periodu januar-avgust 2008.godine ve}i je za 32,9% od ukupnog izvoza uprvih osam meseci pro{le godine, ili za 2,2milijarde USD.

U junu izvoz opada u odnosu na maj za 1,4%, ujulu mese~no raste za 10,9%. Izvozna aktivnostje u avgustu mawa za 13,1% u odnosu na jul, dok jeu odnosu na avgust 2007. godine ve}a za 30%. Uodnosu na 2007. godinu, godi{we stope rastaizvoza za jun, jul i avgust iznose 33,4%, 35,1% i30%, respektivno. Mese~ne stope rasta uvoza zajun, jul i avgust iznose 0,5%, 10,5% i -22,1%,respektivno, a godi{we (u odnosu na iste mesece 2007. godine) 42,7%, 45,7% i 22,9%, respektivno.

Uprvom polugo|u 2008. izvoz je ve}i za 37,7%od izvoza u prvom polugo|u 2007. a uvoz za 42%ve}i od uvoza u prvom polugo|u 2007. godine.

U prvih osam meseci 2008. godine, dominira izvozproizvoda za reprodukciju (4,682 milijardi USD),proizvoda za {iroku potro{wu (1,776 milijarde USD)i sredstava rada (536 miliona USD). U periodu januar-avgust dominira uvoz proizvoda za reprodukciju (9,677milijardi USD), proizvoda za {iroku potro{wu(3,439 milijarde USD) i sredstava rada (2,694milijardi USD). Godi{we, kumulativne stope rastaizvoza (po datom redosledu) iznose: 34,7%, 28,1% i54,2%, a uvoza: 39,4%, 44,9% i 37,3%, respektivno.

Total exports of goods in the first eight months in2008 amounted to 6.8 billion USD what represent36.3% increase comparing to the same period last year,and 29.3% increase with respect to the average exportsin 2007. In the same period, the total imports attainedthe value of 15.8 billion USD, what is 40% increase,comparing to the same period last year, and 28.8%increase with respect to the average imports in 2007.

Total external trade deficit of goods in the first eightmonths in 2008 amounted to 9 billion USD, whatrepresents 42.9% increase in comparison with the deficit recorded in the same period last year. The externaltrade deficit in the period January-August 2008 exceeds the total imports in the same period of the previous year by 32.9% or by 2.2 billion USD.

In June, exports decreased by 1.4% with respect to May,and increased in July by 10.9%, monthly rate. In August, adecrease of 13.1% in exports activity was recorded, withrespect to July. With respect to the previous August, theannual growth rate amounted to 30%. With respect to thesame months in 2007, annual growth rates in June, July and August amounted 33.4%, 35.1% and 30%, respectively. InJune, July and August imports recorded monthly rates:0.5%, 10.5% and -22.1%, respectively, and yearly rates(compared to the same months of the previous year) were:42.7%, 45.7% and 22.9%, respectively.

According to the economic use of products, in the firsteight months 2008, the dominant products in the structureof exports were intermediate goods (4.682 billion USD),consumer goods (1.776 billion USD) and capital goods(536 million USD). ZAPOSLENOST EMPLOYMENT

Za prvih osam meseci 2008. godine ukupnazaposlenost je za 0,2% mawa od prose~ne iz 2007.godine, a za 0,5% ve}a od ukupne zaposlenosti zaosam meseci prethodne godine. Zaposlenost upreduze}ima, ustanovama i organizacijama u drugomkvartalu 2008. je za 0,4% ispod prose~nezaposlenosti u 2007. godini i mawa je za 0,3% upore|ewu sa istim periodom pro{le godine. Zaprvih osam meseci 2008. godine zaposlenostprivatnih preduzetnika i zaposlenih kod wih je za0,8% ve}a od prose~ne iz 2007. godine, a za 1,2% odwihove zaposlenosti za osam meseci pro{le godine.

U drugom kvartalu 2008. zaposlenost uprivrednim delatnostima (preduze}ima,ustanovama i organizacijama) opada po stopiod 1,5% u odnosu na prosek 2007. i opada za 1,5%u odnosu na isti period prethodne godine. Uprvih osam meseci ove godine, privrednazaposlenost je za 1,7% ispod prose~neprivredne zaposlenosti 2007, a za 1,6% mawa od istog perioda pro{le godine.

U drugom kvartalu 2008. godine zaposlenostu vanprivrednim delatnostima (preduze}ima,ustanovama i organizacijama) raste po stopi od 2,4% u odnosu na prosek 2007, a za 2,6% u odnosu na isti period prethodne godine. U prvih osammeseci ove godine, vanprivredna zaposlenost je za 2,1% ve}e od proseka 2007, odnosno za 2,3%od istog perioda pro{le godine.

Broj registrovanih lica koja traèzaposlewe ili ukupna nezaposlenost u drugomkvartalu 2008. mawa je za 10% od prose~nenezaposlenosti u 2007. godini i za 12,2% odnezaposlenosti u drugom kvartalu 2007. godine.U prvih osam meseci ove, u odnosu na istiperiod pro{le godine, broj nezaposlenih lica(stvarna nezaposlenost) mawi je za 9,1%, dok je od proseka iz 2007. godine mawi za 12%.

Veliki raskorak izme|u visoke tra`we zaradom, izraène brojem nezaposlenih lica, iniske ponude rada, izraène preko brojaslobodnih radnih mesta, izraèn je i daqe.Broj registrovanih slobodnih radnih mesta ujunu 2008. iznosio je 68,3 hiqada i ve}i je zasvega 6,5% od broja slobodnih radnih mesta umaju ove godine. U julu se taj broj pove}ao za5,3% u odnosu na prethodni mesec. Ponuda radau avgustu (56 hiqada) 13,1 put je mawa od brojanezaposlenih lica, ili, ponuda rada u avgustu~inila je tek 7,6% stvarne tra`we za radom.Pod pretpostavkom uskla|ene kvalifikacionestrukture ponude rada i stvarne tra`we zaradom, 92,4% ponude rada ostalo bi nepokriveno.

In the first eight months in 2008, the totalemployment decreased by 0.2%, comparing to theaverage in 2007, and increased by 0.5% comparing tothe same period last year. Employment inenterprises, institutions and organizations in thesecond quarter in 2008 was 0.4% below the averagein 2007, and 0.3% below the level attained in thesame period last year. In the first eight months in2008, the private entrepreneurs, persons performingactivities independently and their employees increasedby 0.8%, comparing to the average in 2007, and by1.2% comparing to the same period last year.

In the second quarter of 2008, the employmentin economics (enterprises, institutions andorganizations) decreased by 1.5% comparing to theaverage in 2007, and decreased by 1.5% withrespect to the same period last year. In the first eightmonths of this year, employment in economicsdecreased by 1.7%, comparing to the average in 2007,and decreased by 1.6% comparing to the same periodlast year.

In the second quarter of 2008, the employment in non-economics (enterprises, institutions andorganizations) increased by 2.4% comparing to the average in 2007, and by 2.6% with respect to thesame period last year. In the first eight months of thecurrent year, employment in non-economics increasedby 2.1% comparing to the average in 2007, andincreased by 2.3% comparing to the same period lastyear.

The number of the registered unemployed seekingwork in the second quarter of 2008, decreased by 10%in comparison with the average unemployed in 2007,and by 12.2% comparing to the same period last year.The number of unemployed (real unemployed)decreased by 9.1% in the first eight months this year,comparing to same period in 2007, and compared tothe average of 2007, the decrease was 12%.

A considerable discrepancy between the high labordemand, expressed in the number of the unemployedpersons seeking work, and the low labor supply,expressed in the number of job vacancies, was stillpronounced. The number of registered vacancies inJune 2008 was 68.3 thousand, and increased just by6.5% with the respect to May this year. In July, thisnumber represented 5.3% increase with respect to theprevious month. The labor supply in August (56thousand) was 13.1 times lesser than to the realnumber of persons seeking work, representing just7.6% of total labor demand. This means that 92.4% oflabor supply wouldn't be covered; assuming thatqualification structure of the labor supply matches thequalification structure of labor demand.

Prose~no ispla}ena neto zarada bez porezai dopronosa u junu je iznosila 32648 dinara (uprivredi 31125 dinara, u vanprivredi 35454dinara), {to je nominalno vi{e za 1,6% (uprivredi za 3,3%, u vanprivredi mawe za 1,1%),a realno za 1% (u privredi 2,7% i vanprivredimawe za 1,7%) u odnosu na prethodni mesec. Ujulu je prose~no ispla}ena neto zarada (33058dinara, u privredi 31284 dinara, u vanprivredi36334 dinara) pove}ana u odnosu na jun, za 1,3%(u privredi 0,5% i vanprivredi za 2,6%) unominalnom iznosu, dok je realno pove}ana zaod 2,4% (u privredi 1,7% i pove}ana uvanprivredi 3,7%). U avgustu je prose~noispla}ena neto zarada (33131 dinara, uprivredi 31583 dinara, u vanprivredi 35989dinara) ne{to ve}a od zarade u julu, za 0,2% (uprivredi 1% i vanprivredi mawa za 0,9%), dok realno pove}awe iznosi 0,2% (u privredi 1% au vanprivredi smawewe za 0,9%).

Prema statisti~kim podacima, mese~nirast neto zarada se, uobi~ajeno svake godineprekida u maju, kada su zarade mawe nego uprethodnom mesecu. Ove godine se takav trendnastavqa, za razliku od 2007. kada se desioprekid sa zaka{wewem od dva meseca (u julu).

Godi{we stope rasta za ukupne nominalneneto zarade u junu, julu i avgustu iznose 17,1%,19,1% i 17,7%, a realne 1%, 3,6% i 5,5 %.

Od po~etka ove godine do kraja avgusta,prose~na nominalna neto zarada ve}a je za14,1% (u privredi za 15,6%, u vanprivredi za11,1%) od proseka 2007, a ve}a za 17,7%(privreda 19,8%, vanprivreda 17,4%) od netozarade iz istog perioda pro{le godine.

Kumulativno posmatrano za prvih osammeseci 2008. godine u odnosu na prvih osammeseci prethodne godine, prihodi buxetaraspore|eni buxetu Republike ve}i su za12,6% (realno mawi za 1,4%) i sporije su rasliod prihoda buxeta raspore|enih op{tinama igradovima koji su ve}i nominalno 19% arealno ve}i za 4,1% u posmatranom periodu.

According to statistical data, the increasing trendof average net wages turns down in May, as it happens every year. This year such a trend continued, contrary to 2007 when it was interrupted with a two-monthdelay (in July).

Annual growth rates of net wages in June, July and August amounted, nominally, to 17.1%, 19.1% and17.7%, while they were 1%, 3.6% and 5.5%, in realterms.

From the beginning of the year until the end ofAugust, the average net wages increased nominally by14.1% (by 15.6% in economy, and by 11.1% in non-economic activities) comparing to the average in 2007,and by 17.7% (by 19.8% in economy, by 17.4% in non-economic activities) comparing to the same period last year.

In period January-August 2008, comparing to2007, the budget revenues distributed to republicbudgets recorded an increase of 12.6% nominally(1.4% the real value) and grew slower than theincrease of budget revenues distributed to communesand towns that increased by 19% nominally, and 4.1%the real value, in this period.

CENE PRICESCene proizvo|a~a industrijskih proizvoda

beleè mese~ni rast za jun, jul i avgust od 1,2%,1% i od 0,8%. Posmatrano po nameni EU, u avgustu su najvi{e porasle cena proizvo|a~a energije za2% i cene proizvo|a~a intermedijarnihproizvoda za 0,3%. Nisu se, na mesecnom nivou,promenile cene proizvo|a~a trajnih proizvoda za{iroku potro{wu, dok su cene proizvo|a~akapitalnih proizvoda i cene proizvo|a~anetrajnih proizvoda za {iroku potro{wu porasleza 0,1%.

Od po~etka godine do avgusta, po sektorimaindustrije, u odnosu na decembar 2008. ceneproizvo|a~a u proseku su ve}e u sektoru va|ewarude i kamena za 27,1%, zatim u sektoruprera|iva~ke industrije za 8%, a cene proizvodweelektri~ne energije, gasa i vode za 13,2%. U avgustu, u odnosu na decembar 2008. najvi{e su porasle ceneproizvo|a~a energije za 20,1% i intermedijarnihproizvoda za 8,3%, dok su pale cene proizvo|a~akapitalnih proizvoda za 2,8%.

Cene na malo su u junu porasle za 1%, pri ~emu su odroba pale cene poqoprivrednih proizvoda (za 9,7%) icene sve ih prehrambenih proizvoda (za 0,2%), dok sunajvi{e porasle cene industrijski neprehrambenihproizvoda (za 2,2%). Mese~na inflacija u julu bele irast od 0,1%, dok je u avgustu iznosila 0,2%. U julu suzabele ena pojeftiwewa, sli~na junskim (prehrambeni proizvodi za 13,7% i sve i prehrambeni proizvodi za1,9%) dok su najvi{e poskupeli industrijskineprehrambeni proizvodi (1,3%).U rastu cena na malo uavgustu (od 0,2%) predwa~e cene poqoprivrednihproizvoda (od 2,5%) i cene industrijskih proizvoda (od1%). U rastu cena na malo u septembru (od 0,2%)predwa~e industrijski prehrambeni proizvodi koji supojeftinili za 0,2%, dok su ukupni prehrambeniproizvodiposkupeli za 3,7%.

Tro{kovi ìvota u junu rastu za 0,5%, ujulu padaju za 1,1%, dok u avgustu beleèrast od 0,1%, odnosno u septembru rast od0,9%. U junu su najvi{e pove}ani izdaci zasaobra}ajna sredstva i usluge (3,5%), ode}u iobu}u (0,6%) i duvan i pi}a (0,3%), dok susmaweni tro{kovi za ishranu (0,1%). U julu sunajvi{e pali izdaci za ishranu (3%), a najvi{eporasli izdaci za saobra}ajna sredstva iusluge (1,6%). U avgustu, tro{kovi ìvota od0,1% opredeqeni su pove}anim izdacima zausluge (1,5%) i padom izdataka za robe (0,1%).Izdaci za ishranu pove}ani su 3,2%, stanovawe 3,3%, ogrev i osvetlewe 4,8%. U septembru,tro{kovi ìvota su pove}ani za 0,9% u odnosu na avgust, a od po~etka godine do krajaseptembra pove}ani su za 6,8%.

Producers’ prices of manufactured goodsincreased in June, July and August by 1.2%, by 1%and by 0.8%, respectively. Observed by use (EU-classification), the biggest growth recorded in Augustwas with prices of energy by 2% and prices ofintermediary products which increased by 0.3%. Themonthly rate from prices of durable products forconsumption did not changed, while the prices ofcapital goods and the prices of non-durable productsfor consumption increased by 0.1%.

From the beginning of the year until August, observed byindustrial sectors, producers’ prices were greater in averagethan prices in December 2008. in sectors: mining andquarrying by 27.1%, than manufacturing by 8% and pricesof electricity, gas and water supply by 13.2%. In August, with respect to December last year, the greatest increase wasrecorded in producers’ prices of energy (20.1%) and prices of intermediary products (8.3%), while the decrease wasrecorded in produces’ prices of capital products (2.8%).

The retail prices increased in June by 1%. Thedecrease was recorded with the prices of agriculturalproducts (9.7%) and fresh agricultural food products(0.2%), while the biggest growth was with the prices of industrial non food products (2.2%). Retail pricesincreased in July by 0.1, and in August they alsoincreased by 0.2%. In July, as well as in June, theretail prices recorded decrease (prices of agriculturalfood products by 13.7% and fresh agricultural foodproducts by 1.9%) while the biggest growth was withthe prices of industrial non food products (by 1.3%). Ingrowth of the retail prices in August (0.2%) withrespect to July, precede the prices of agriculturalproducts (2.5%) and prices of industrial products(1%). In the growth of the retail prices in September(0.2%), prices of industrial agricultural productsdecreased by 0.2%, while the prices of total foodproducts increased by 3.7%.

Consumer prices in June increased by 0.5%. Monthlygrowth rates of consumer prices in July recorded decrease of1.1%, but in August and September they increased, by 0.1%and by 0.9%, respectively. In June, the biggest growth ofexpenditure was for traffic facilities of 3.5%, clothes andshoes of 0.6% and tobacco and drinks (0.3%), whileexpenditure for food decreased by 0.1%. In July, the biggestdecrease was for food (3%) and the biggest growth was fortraffic facilities of 1.6%. In August, the total index (0.1%) wasinfluenced by expenditure increase for services (by 1.5%) and decrease for goods (0.1%). The expenditure for foodincreased by 3.2%, fuel and light by 4.8% andaccommodation by 3.3%. In September consumer pricesincreased by 0.9%. From the beginning of the yearuntil September, consumer prices increased by 6.8%.

U junu 2008. godine nov~ana masa M1 jemese~no nominalno opala za 2,2%, u julu za3,7%, dok je u avgustu porasla za 2,7%. Realnoopada u junu i julu za 3,2%, odnosno 3,8%, dok u avgustu realno raste za 2,5%. Za prvih osammeseci 2008. godine, nov~ana masa je ve}a za14% u odnosu na isti period prethodne godine,a za 9% u odnosu na prosek 2007. godine.

U~e{}e gotovog novca u opticaju u nov~anoj masi u junu 2008. godine iznosi 30,8%, dok ujulu i avgustu to u~e{}e iznosi 31,8%, odnosno 31,5%. Stawe gotovog novaca u opticaju (69,5milijardi dinara) u junu je nominalno mawe za6,2% od stawa u maju, a realno za 7,2%. U julu je gotov novac u opticaju nominalno mawi za0,8% a realno za 0,8%, u odnosu na prethodnimesec. U avgustu je masa gotovog novca (70,1milijarda dinara) nominalno ve}a za 1,7%, arealno mawa za 1,5% od mase gotovog novca izjula.

U isto vreme depozitni novac u junu, julu iavgustu beleì nominalne mese~ne stope rasta od -0,3%, -5% i 3%, respektivno, a realnestope od -0,6%, -5,1% i 2,9%, respektivno.

U junu i julu je do{lo do nominalnogsmawewa nov~ane mase M2 za 3,5% (realno za4,6%), odnosno za 0,9% (realno za 1%), dok je uavgustu zabeleèno nominalno pove}awa za4,5% (realnog za 4,2%),

Nov~ana masa M3 u junu je za 3,2%nominalno mawa u odnosu na maj ove godine(realno za 4,3%). Zbog primene novog kontnogplana, nisu raspoloìvi podaci ovog agregataza mesece jul i avgust.

Kamatne stope pravnih lica na depozite nateku}im i ìro ra~unima, kao i na oro~enedepozite do jednog meseca, na mese~nom nivou, u nominalnom iznosu date su u tabelama naslede}oj strani. Osim nominalnih, nagrafikonima su prikazane i realne vrednostikamatnih stopa.

Realne kamatne stope pravnih lica nadepozite na teku}im i ìro ra~unimanegativne su u periodu 2005-2008. osim u julu,septembru, oktobru i decembru 2006, zatim umartu 2007, kao i u julu 2008. godine.

Realne vrednosti kamatnih stopa pravnihlica na oro~ene depozite do jednog mesecavariraju od -2% do 1,5%.

In June the money supply M1 decreased nominally by 2.2%, in July by 3.7%, while in August it increased by 2.7% (in real terms -3.2%, -3.8% and 2.5%), withthe respect to previous month. In the first eight months in 2008, money supply increased by 14% with respectto the same period last year, and by 9% with respect to the average in 2007.

The share of cash in circulation in June 2008amounted to 30.8%, and in July and August itamounted to 31.8% and 31.5%. In June, cash incirculation (69.5 billion Dinars) decreased by 6.2%,nominally, and by 7.2% in real terms, compared toMay. At the same time, in June and July, deposit moneynominally decreased by 0.3% and by 5%, but in August increased by 3%. Monthly rates, in real terms, were:-0.6%, -5.1% and 2.9%, respectively.

In June and July, the money supply M2 decreasednominally by 3.5% (by 4.6 in real terms) andnominally by 0.9% (by 1% in real terms). In August, it increased nominally by 4.5% (by 4.2% in real terms).

The money supply M3 in June decreased nominally by 3.2% (in real terms by 4.3%) with respect to May.As Plan of accounts has changed, there are noavailable data on this aggregate for July and August.

Interest rates of legal entities for deposits oncurrent and giro accounts and on time deposits up toone month (on monthly level, in nominal terms) arepresented in the tables on the next page. Real andnominal values of these interest rates are presented on graphs.

Real interest rates of legal entities for deposits oncurrent and giro accounts follow the trend beingnegative during the period 2005 - 2008, except in July, September, October and December 2006, then inMarch 2007, as well as in July 2008.

Real values of interest rates of legal entities fortime deposits up to one month vary from -2% to 1.5%.

METODOLO[KA OBJA[WEWA

Publikacija TRENDOVI ima za ciq danosiocima ekonomske politike zemqe pruìaùrnu informaciju o teku}im kretawima uprivredi, kao i o wihovim dugoro~nim i/ilicikli~nim pona{awima. Zato je nagrafikonima prikazana i trend-cikluskomponenta, zajedno sa originalnim mese~nimpodacima, dok su u tabelama dati samooriginalni podaci - bazni ili lan~aniindeksi za teku}u i dve prethodne godine.

Baza indeksnih podataka koji se prezentujugodi{we se aùrira prera~unavawem indeksateku}e godine u odnosu na prethodnu godinu kaobaznu (=100).

Za svaku prezentovanu oblast ekonomskeaktivnosti daje se i tekstualna analizakretawa pra}enih pojava za period obra|en udatom broju publikacije.

Po~ev od prvog broja ove publikacije (mart2004), serije iz (odgovaraju}ih) oblasti seprikazuju prema Klasifikaciji delatnosti(KD) koja se primewuje od januara 2001. godine,a znatno se razlikuje od Jedinstveneklasifikacije delatnosti (JKD) koja je bila uprimeni vi{e od 20 godina. Deo podataka poKD statistika prikupqa od januara 2004, dok sepodaci za prethodne mesece dobijajukompilacijom starih podataka iz JKD u KD.

TRENDOVI, kao i baza podataka iza wih,zasnivaju se na podacima Republi~kog zavoda zastatistiku Srbije i Narodne banke Srbije, aod januara 2003. i na podacima Ministarstvafinansija i ekonomije - Uprava za javnapla}awa, Centrala, Beograd. Od januara 2003.poslove ZOP-a, o bruto naplati i raspodelijavnih prihoda, preuzele su Nacionalna{tedionica i Ministarstvo finansija -Uprava za trezor - Centrala Beograd, potrebnipodaci su raspoloìvi. Podatke o nov~animtokovima prikupqaju poslovne banke iprosle|uju ih Narodnoj banci Srbije.

Posebno napomiwemo da od drugog kvartala1999. godine serije ne sadrè podatke zaKosovo i Metohiju.

METHODOLOGICAL EXPLANATIONS

The ultimate aim of the TRENDS publication is toprovide accurate information on current economictrends to the economic policy makers, as well asinformation on their long-term and/or cyclicalbehavior. For this reason, the graphs present both, the original monthly data and the trend-cycle components, while the tables present only original data - base orchain indices for the current and two previous years.

Database of index data, which are presented in thepublication, is being made accurate by recalculatingindices according to the preceding year as the referent year (=100).

For each sector of economic activities covered bythe publication, there is a regular short analysis ofcurrent economic trends in the observed period.

Starting March 2004, when the first issue of thispublication was announced, data series (forappropriate sectors) are presented in terms ofClassification of Activities (CA), which has beenapplying since January 2001. There is quite adifference between CA and Uniform Classification ofActivities (UCA), which was in use for over twentyyears. Statistics has been collecting data by CAmethodology for some of the sectors since January2004, while data for previous months are obtained bycompiling data collected by UCA methodology.

TRENDS, as well as data base beyond, use datacollected by Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, by National Savings Bank and, since January 2003, by Ministry of Finances and Economy - Directorate forpublic payments in Belgrade (Also, since January2003, tasks of Clearing and Payment Serviceconcerning data collection for gross revenues anddistribution of public revenues, have been taken overby National Savings Bank and Ministry of Finances –Treasury Administration, Belgrade and these requisitedata are available. The data on monetary flows havebeen collected by commercial banks and passed toNational Bank of Serbia).

Specially remarked is the fact that starting thesecond quarter 1999, all the series do not include datafor Kosovo and Metohia.

Baza podataka

U Republi~kom zavodu za statistiku sveserije u statistici su organizovane u bazupodataka (sa~iwenu iz dve analogne logi~keceline TRENDAGREGAT i TRENDINDEKS).Baza sadrì preko 600 serija.

U publikaciji: "Uputstvo za kori{}ewebaze indeksa Ekonomski trend - EKT serijaindeksa o privrednim kretawima" (MM br.384, SZS, 1999), obja{wena je procedura kojomse moè pristupiti bazama podataka. Sli~naprocedura }e biti primewena i na instalacijiRepubli~kog zavoda za statistiku i opisana uadekvatnoj, analognoj publikaciji.

Na sli~an na~in }e biti kompiliranemetodolo{ke publikacije u kojima je opisanakoncepcija izgradwe baza vremenskih serija :"Interna metodologija baze podataka - Serijeagregata i indeksa o privrednim kretawima-Ekotrend" (RD, god-VII, br. 7, SZS, 1993) i"Baza indeksa Ekonomski trend - EKT -Priprema i aùrirawe serija indeksa oprivrednim kretawima za SR Jugoslaviju"(MSRD br. 36, SZS, 1997).

Trend - ciklus komponenta je ra~unatametodom X11, kompjuterskim paketomX11-ARIMA, koji je razvila kanadskastatistika.

Trends for economic indicators cover the followingareas:

(1) Activities,

(2) Final demand,

(3) External trade,

(4) Employment,

(5) Distribution,

(6) Prices,

(7) Monetary sector.

Data bases

There is time series data base available inStatistical Office of Republic of Serbia. The baseconsists of two analogue logical parts:TRENDAGREGATE and TRENDINDEX. There areover 600 time series in the base.

The publication titled "Instructions for Use of Index

Data Base Economic Trend - EKT Indices Series on

Economic Trends" (MM, No. 384, FSO, 1999), edited

by FSO of Yugoslavia, describes the procedure which

enables access to the bases. The similar procedure is

going to be applied in the Republic Statistic, and is

going to be described in the adequate publication

Another two methodological publications thatexplain the plan for building time series data bases are also going to be compiled: "Internal Methodology ofData Base - Series of Aggregates and Indices onEconomic Trends - Ekotrend", (RD, Year - VII, No. 7, FSO, 1993) and "Economic Trend Database - EKT-Creation and Updating of Index Series on EconomicTrends for FR Yugoslavia" (MSRD, No. 36, FSO,1997).

The trend - cycle component is calculated by X11

method, by means of the X11-ARIMA program

package, developed by Statistics of Canada.



Serije indeksa industrijske proizvodwe(ukupno i po sektorima), kao i odgovaraju}eserije zaliha gotovih proizvoda uindustrijskoj proizvodwi, izvedene su izpodataka o fizi~kom obimu proizvodwe premastatisti~koj metodologiji ponderisawa iagregirawa podataka iz ove oblasti.

âsovi rada na gradili{tima obuhvatajustvarno odra|ene ~asove radnika angaòvanihna gradili{tima u redovnom radnom vremenu,kao i u prekovremenim satima, za sve radnikeu preduze}ima iz oblasti gra|evinarstva, kao i u jedinicama koje obavqaju gra|evinskudelatnost a nalaze se u sastavu negra|evinskihpreduze}a.

Prose~nu neto zaradu zaposlenih, bezporeza i doprinosa, prema metodologijiRepubli~kog zavoda za statistiku, ~iniprose~na bruto zarada umawena za poreze idoprinose. Bruto zaradu zaposlenih ~ine:zarade koje su zaposleni ostvarili za obavqenrad i vreme provedeno na radu, uve}ana zarada,naknada zarade i druga primawa.

Podaci o primawima i izdavawimastanovni{tva se ne}e nadaqe evaluirati, te seodgovaraju}e serije zavr{avaju sa decembrom2002. godine.

U skladu sa Zakonom o izmenama i dopunamaZakona o radnim odnosima ("Slu`beni glasnik RS" br. 28/2001), od 1.6.2001. godine zaradezaposlenih prate se po bruto obra~unu.

Nominalni monetarni agregat - nov~anamasa M1, iskazana je kao mese~no stawe idefinisana kao zbir gotovog novca u opticajui depozitnog novca.

Depozitni novac obuhvata sredstva na ìro, teku}im i drugim ra~unima vlasnika nov~anihsredstava, kao i nov~ana sredstva na ra~unimalokalne samouprave sa pla}awima bezograni~ewa.

Index series of industrial production (total and bysectors), as well as analogues index series of stocks ofmanufactured goods in industrial production, areobtained from data on volume of the production bymeans of statistical methodology for evaluation oftotals from weighted data..

Hours of work performed at construction sitesinclude working hours of workers engaged atconstruction sites during the regular working time andovertime work, for all the workers in enterprises fromthe field of construction, as well as in the units thatperfom construction activity and are in composition ofnon-construction enterprises.

Average net wages (salaries) of the employees’,without taxes and contributions (according to themethodology applied by Statistical Office of Serbia)are represented by wages (salaries) - gross, reducedfor taxes and contributions. Employees’ wages(salaries) - gross consist of: wages realized byemployees for work done and time spent at work,higher wages, remunerations and other incomes.

Data on receipts and expenditure of populationare not going to be evaluated anymore. Thus, series of these data end by December 2002.

According to the Law on Changes and Amendments to the Labor Relations ("Official Gazette of RS" No.28/2001.), of 1.6.2001 the salaries of the employeesare recorded on the gross calculation basis.

Nominal monetary aggregate - money supply M1is presented as a monthly balance and it is defined asthe sum of cash money in circulation and depositmoney.

Deposit money covers resources on gyro andcurrent accounts and resources of municipalitygovernment with unlimited payments.



Nominalni monetarni agregat - nov~anamasa M2, iskazana je kao mese~no stawe idefinisana kao zbir nov~ane mase M1 idinarskih depozita (kratkoro~nih idugoro~nih).

Nominalni monetarni agregat - nov~anamasa M3, iskazana je kao mese~no stawe idefinisana kao zbir nov~ane mase M2 ideviznih depozita (bez stare devizne {tedwe).

Kamatne stope su date na mese~nom nivou.

Svi podaci su dati na mese~nom nivou nabazi proseka prethodne godine (=100),ukqu~uju}i i tokove monetarnih agregata.Izuzetak ~ine serije o cenama koje supredstavqene i lan~anim indeksima(prethodni mesec = 100). Ovo je u~iweno da bise preglednije pratile mese~ne promene cena.

Pre kratke analize svake oblastiekonomske aktivnosti, dat je spisakprezentovanih serija.

Nominal monetary aggregate – money supply M2is presented as a monthly balance and it is defined as a sum of money supply M1 and Dinars deposits money(short-term and long-term).

Nominal monetary aggregate – money supply M3is presented as a monthly balance and it is defined as a sum of money supply M2 and devises deposits money(without old devises savings).

Interest rates are given on monthly level.

All data present monthly series based on the

preceding year average (= 100), including the trends

of monetary aggregates. The exception are the series

on prices represented by base indices as well as by the

chain monthly indices (preceding month = 100). This

has been done in order to obtain a better insight on

monthly changes of prices.

For each economic activity sector, before shortanalytic comments, there is a list of the presentedseries.
