Stewart,M.A.,RAç Audiologist/Owner Donna M. Stewart From a young age Donna Stewart knew what she wanted to be when she grew up. One of her earliest memories is sitting on her hard-of- hearing mother’s lap while the Audiologist adjusted her hearing aids. Stewart marvelled the difference the hearing aids made for her mother and decided she wanted to help people in the same way. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Stewart received a scholarship to obtain her Master’s degree in Audiology. After twenty years of working as an audiologist in government clinics and corporate environments, in April 2010, Stewart reached her goal of opening her own full service hearing centre where she could deal one-on-one with her clients while staying true to her values of uncompromising integrity and professionalism. Stewart truly enjoys getting to know each individual who walks through the door. The clinic is run with the belief that each person has unique needs and motivations that must be identified in order to create a customized solution for them. This means spending a bit more time doing the initial assessment and consultation, but the end result is a client who has the right hearing aids for their hearing loss, their lifestyle and their budget. Stewart enjoys the challenge of combining people and technology. Whether someone wants to stream their mp3 player and Bluetooth phone through their hearing aids or if they simply want hearing aids they can put in and forget, HEAR Central Saanich has the solution. Being a privately owned clinic, with no affiliation with any one hearing instrument manufacturer, Stewart is able to offer the most appropriate hearing instruments without bias.
