We do appreciate your faithfulness in supporting us financially & spiritually. Opposition to the cause of Christ is increasing in India, yet we want to press on until the trumpet sounds in the air. Imprecatory prayer is in progress concerning Hindu militancy rule. Please pray with us. Ps 139:19-24 states, "Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, 0 God; depart from me therefore, ye bloody men. For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vein. Do not I hate them, 0 Lord, that hate thee? And am I grieved with those that rise up against thee? I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them mine enemies. Search me, 0 GOD, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts. And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." Correspondence courses & continuing education in Kannada language for the 6.5 crore Kannadigas: God in His providence has helped us to venture out in this outreach work in July 2016. Thus far, 15 students have enrolled for this programme. This is one of the means by which we are reaching out with "The Gospel of Grace" & "Apostolic Doctrines." Please do pray for this project to increase in strength. SHALOM BAPTIST PUBLICATION: Thus far, we are able to publish 7 Apostolic doctrines out of 10 doctrines in the Kannada language. Please pray that God will resource us to publish the rest so that we can use these Biblical Doctrinal Kannada Books for correspondence programs. SHALOM BAPTIST ORPHANAGE: The new comers need to be saved. Please pray that God would open their ears to the Gospel of Grace & respond to it before the end of the academic year. Ps 82:3, 4 states, "Defend the poor and the fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy; deliver the poor and needy; rid them out of the hand of the wicked." SHALOM BAPTIST ACADEMY: We have 25 orphan & destitute children. Pray for Mrs. Christina Kumar's responsibilities with these children, leading them to Christ, and nurturing them. SHALOM BAPTIST BIBLE SCHOOL: We have 12 juveniles in this diploma program that is C.Th (2 Years), G.Th (3 Years). Please pray that these juveniles will grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We praise God for their response. SHALOM BAPTIST BIBLE COLLEGE AND SEMINARY: Seven students are studying under graduate & graduate schooling. Dr. Enoch Kumar, Dr. Ramesh Kumar, Elisha Kumar, & Nehemiah are all involved in teaching. Please pray for the teaching staff & their commitment. SHALOM BAPTIST CHURCH PLANTING MINISTRY: God-willing, one more Independent, Bible-believing, Baptist church will be planted in May 2017. Brother Nehemiah will be commissioned to act in his native village in the state of Manipur. The state suffers from insurgency. Pray for the safety of our many pastors who have been toiling in the state of Manipur since 1990. "If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be ANATHEMA MARANATHA. The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. My love be with you all in Christ Jesus.
