This checklist identifies not only the major activities, it also offers a list of recommended study materials and ideas on how to gain PDUs after you successfully pass the exam. The Code is an important part of the exam and you must accept the code in your online application. Create a PMP® Exam Study Plan ( www.pmstudyplan.com). o Project Managers know the importance of having a plan. Without one they know they will fail. So, create your exam study plan and follow it. o Enter the information in your SmartPhone and be sure to set the alarm for a few days prior to the exam. It is a good reminder to be ready for the exam.

Take the exam at your local test center. Bring the following with you:

o The exam eligibility letter / email.

o The test appointment confirmation.

o Two forms of ID (at least one must be a government photo ID.)

o Sweater, earplugs, jacket, snacks, water.

The PMP® Certification is not for life. You need 60 Professional Development Units (PDUs) every 3 years for Recertification. PMI® wants you to stay competitive.

o Read the Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) section in the PMP Handbook (www.pm-prepcast.com/pmphb) for the details.

o Get involved with your local PMI® Chapter where they work closely with you to maintain your certification.
