Print Manager Plus 9.0 will be our most extensive upgrade so far. Massive amounts of the product have been updated and upgraded to bring you the latest technology. From a new and intuitive interface to installation ease and integration with Active Directory and Rules Based Restrictions, Administrative functions and Reporting. Below you will find some of the new features and improvements.

Print Manager Plus version 9.0 will be licensed by device as a Standard and Premium Edition and which include Client Billing, WebAdvantage Suite, Reports Center functionality all in one product. New EUIT and Client Billing Module will be released as well.

Print Manager Plus® Version 9.0 New & Improved

Rules & Restrictions Customizable Rules: Rules can be created globally that can be applied to any combination of User, Printer, Group and OU.

• Customize the action & message for each rule, such as Allow, Delete, Pause, Verify the job. • Rules consist of any combination of existing restrictions, i.e. Color and Over 10 Pages. • Rules can be set to take action when Any, All, or No Criteria is met.

Bypass Restriction:

• Rules, or Built-‐In restrictions can be set up as a bypass to allow printing.

For example: If Job is Page size A4, allow the job and ignore other restrictions.

Rule and Restriction Order: The order and result of each rule or restriction is checked, can be explicitly set. For example:

1. Check if Job contains color, if yes Delete.

2. Check if job is Duplex, if yes Pause.

In this case a Job that is Color and Duplex would be deleted, a job that is Black and white and Duplex would be paused.

New Restrictions:

• Restrict by Page Size. • Restrict Number of Color Pages. • Restriction Number of BW Pages.

Improved Active Directory Integration: Various improvements to Active Directory integration include.

• Automatic refresh of each users AD Information including Group memberships, Primary group, OU, Full Name, Email, Department and other settings.

• Smoother integration and caching of users locally in Database for fast interface access even for very large active directories.

• Advanced search and filter features of local list or Active Directory to easily find Users, Groups or OUs.

Live Interface: Administration console listing Users, Groups, OUs, Printers and Servers displayed live balance and total information.

Installation & eUpdate: Improved Installation technology for fresh installs and smoother eUpdates using native MSI technology.

Deep Color: Full tracking of how many color and BW pages within each document for these languages. Postscript EMF PCL5 PCL6 Cannon Proprietary languages: CAPT, UFRII More to come…

Reporting:

• Redesigned report interface provides much easier interface tools for sorting and controlling your reports. • Web based reports, charts and statements with email scheduling of delivery. • New criteria added such as Job Type, Color Content, and filtering by Active Directory finds. • Dashboards added for at a glance statistics. • Save my Settings: Allows the reporting to remember the settings you have selected for various reports, so it can be

rerun quickly and easily later. • Administrative Rights enforced within Reporting: Example user’s allowed to only view a specific OU, can only report on

jobs belonging to that OU.

Health and Alert Checks: These features help Administrators be aware of internal Print Manager Plus issues, as well as printing issues in their network.

• Email: Daily Server Status updates emailed. • Tracking Service Health: Any issues related to the successful tracking and controlling of jobs will be report in the

interface and via email messaging. • Forwarding of Windows Printing Errors: Windows reported errors such as Printer Offline, Toner Out, Paper Tray, Paper

Jams etc.… will also be reported in interface and via email messaging.

New End User Interaction & Client Module: Various improvements to end user messaging, which includes:

• Email: Notifications via Email on restricted jobs. • Job Information: Full Job Information included with each message. • Customize messaging Per Printer, User Group, etc..: Customized messages can be setup on every User, Group, Printer

or OU they are set on, allowing a specific message per each entity. • Customization: Message body will include variables such as %PAGES% %TITLE% allowing for dynamic message

content. • Client & Project Billing: Redesigned simple to use project selection interface, which includes setting favorite clients.

Quota Management:

• Multiple Update Schedules allowed per quota: i.e. Add $2.00 per week AND Reset to $10.00 at the end of every month. • Quota Updates by Date: Set Quota to X Amount on July 1st • Improved interface for configuring Multiple Balances: i.e. $10.00 Balance on Color Printers and Unlimited Printing on all

other printers. • Improved transaction logging for detailed reporting of balance history. • Set an overall Budget (Soft Quota) on a User Group and OU allowing for negative balance and notifications.

Web Features: (Formerly WebAdvantage Suite and Reports Center) We have taken the entire WebAdvantage Suite Option and have made it part of your Print Manager Plus license. Not only have we added it to your license we have completely rewritten or added new features to the product making it by far the most robust online printing tool on the market. We have also fully integrated all of the Web Reports Center into the interface giving a massive Administrative interface as well as an End User interface via the web.

Client Billing Features (Formerly Client Billing Option) We have taken the entire Client Billing Option and made it part of your Print Manager Plus license. Not only have we added it to your license we have completely rewritten or added new features to the product.

• New Statement layouts with Name, Company, Address for Billing. • Email Scheduling of Statements. • Faster and Interactive Client Billing Module for your workstation with new interface. • Added Client Favorites for Users. • New installations MSI for easier install management.

Services Tab: We have replaced the Print Servers tab with the Services Tab. Here you will find all of your servers or workstations running the Print Manager Plus Service or Web IIS Service.

• New interface showing all Services running on your network. • Shows all devices by machine where service is installed and tracking. • License Management. • Electronic update of all services. • Service Health Status.

Multifunctional Printer Support: We have added a new service to detect MFP walkup activity currently for Sharp MFPs. We are currently working on many new manufactures to include support for.

We have been very reluctant over the years to add this support, because of the ever-‐changing technology from the manufactures side and the addition of hardware wanted or needed such as proximity cards, swipe cards, etc. Keeping true to the core infrastructure of Windows Active Directory and now manufactures new inclination to move away from proprietary firmware and software to actual standards, we can now more efficiently hook to there hardware with confidence in security, usability and cost for our customers.

• New interface showing all MFPs currently being audited. • Added Sharp MFP Print Manager Plus Authentication interface to MFP Screen. • Audit Walk-‐Up Copies, Scans, Faxes and Emails from MFP screen. • Reporting on this walkup traffic with costing.

Licensing & Pricing: We have decided to move away from our current licensing to a more favorable and easy to understand licensing scheme. Print Manager Plus can already audit printing from any operating system going through a Windows print queue to any make and model of printer, including mainframe and text printing. The product can be easily installed on any network setup large or small in any configuration by workstations, servers, direct IP printing, shared printing and local printing!

In this new version we will be licensing the product per a device (Printer) as a Standard and Premium product no matter your network configuration. We have also taken every Option and Agent and added it into the main Print Manager Plus product as features. Some of these features will only be available in the Premium product.

Print Manager Plus Standard Edition will include: Includes all features except for what is listed under the Premium Edition.

Print Manager Plus *Premium Edition will include: * Automatic Report Scheduling and Delivery via Email and/or Saving Report to a Folder Share. * Client Billing Features. * Web Printing via Upload from a Browser, iPad App or any other Tablet or Android Device. * Multifunctional Printer Device Auditing. (Currently Supports certain Sharp MFPs)

> Current customers with the old licensing will be grandfathered into the new licensing scheme without losing any functionality. Most of you will actually have access to many of the new features when upgrading to 9.0.
