    Integration With Learning Solution

    Business Background

    Current Status: Currently, via integration with SAP Learning Solution, e.g. course types canbe displayed and added to the performance appraisal document.

    Business Requirement: Customers want the ability to have enhanced integration with SAPLearning Solution to further connect course types supporting performance objectives.

    SAP Solution: To support these requirements, the current integration with SAP LearningSolution was enhanced. Upon adding a course type to the appraisal document, a mandatory

    assignment is made in the employees learning portal. The employee is then able to log into theportal to view the mandatory assignments and enroll for a course to support their objective(s).

    Enhanced Learning Solution Configuration

    A free enhancement BAdI was developed for the new functionality:Add Coursefrom LSO

    If using the Flexible Performance Management User Interface, customers canspecify in the appraisal template catalog (system transaction: phap_catalog_pa)where in the document the BAdI should appear.

    If using the Predefined Performance Management Process User Interface,customers select whether this enhancement should be part of the process. Nofurther action is required as the template is pre-configured.
