This sprawling shrub forms a dense mound
of green foliage to 3 feet tall by 3-4 feet
wide. Its vine-like habit makes it an ideal
choice for spilling over walls or planters.
Masses of white flowers provide a cooling
effect from May through September. White
Plumbagos native range includes Baja
California, Mexico, southern Arizona, and
parts of Texas, where it grows in shady
watercourses and canyons. ‘Summer
Snow’ is one of the best choices for shady
exposures in the low deserts, with blooms
occurring from late spring all through the
summer. It is hardy to 15º F. USDA Zone
8.
