Plotty Pleasantview

Goth-Dreamer

Mortimer hadn't gotten a chance to talk to Bella at the party, but made sure to invite her over another day. There were some things he was curious about.

What happened, Bella? Why'd you dissapear?Bella laughed. I know you're not going to believe this, but... I was abducted by aliens.Mortimer looked at her skeptically. I know there's stories in Strangetown about abductions, but the abductions only last a couple of hours, tops.

Yeah, so did mine. But they messed up on their expirements and somehow gave me amnesia and immortality, even making me twenty-four again, and then dropped me off in Strangetown by mistake in their haste to remove the evidence of their mess-up. It took twenty-five years to remember everything and get back here.

What was it like? Mortimer asked, suddenly interested. And how'd you get over your amnesia? The scientist inside him was burning with questions.

I don't remember much besides the abduction and being sore for days. I got over the amnesia gradually, and finally I remembered Pleasantview. The nearer I got and the more familiar surroundings I saw, the more I remembered. And by the time I remembered you and got here, well, you were engaged to Dina.

I missed you so much, she whispered as she pulled Mortimer into a hug.

She pulled Mortimer in for a kiss, and Mortimer felt like it was still 46 years ago when he was 17 and Bella was 16 and they'd just started going out. But now he was 63, and Bella looked like she was still in her twenties, and if her story was correct she was.

It occurred to Mortimer there was only an arch and a couple walls between him and Dina, but Bella was persistant and Mortimer couldn't say no.

He did get her to agree to move it upstairs, though, so Dina wouldn't catch them.

Mortimer's heart pounded.

. . .Darren? Cassandra said one day.Yes Cassandra?I want a baby. Cassandra loved her seemingly ever-growing family. It seemed just last week it consisted of only Mortimer and Alexander. But now Bella was back, and Darren, Dirk, Dina, Nina, Adriana, and Don had all become a part of her family. Now she wanted it to be even larger.

Darren and Cassandra retired to the bedroom, and tried...

...tried...

...and tried again. But Cassandra still wasn't pregnant.

Anxious, Cassandra dialed the only person in Pleasantview with any medical experience...

Don? Can you come over?

Don arrived at the Goth house to find Cassandra and Darren waiting for him in the living room. What's the matter? You sounded kind of upset on the phone, he said to Cassandra.

Don had been hoping Cassandra wanted him back- he could use another girl wrapped around his finger- but Darren's presence seemed to suggest that wasn't what Cassandra wanted.

You're the only person in Pleasantview with any medical experience, and I need your help. I want to have a baby, but I'm still not pregnant after all the times Darren and I tried, and I'm worried I might not be able to have one, Cassandra started tearing up.

Well, I have a friend in Strangetown named Chloe, and her twin sister Lola is a doctor, so she can peform some tests on you and Darren to see if either of you is infertile, and if either of you is she can help you look into other options. I'll ask Chloe for her number and call you when I get it.

Thank you, Don, Darren said to be polite, but he still resented Don for keeping Cassandra unavailable and hurting her. Suddenly he realized something. He said if either of us was infertile. We kind of assumed it was Cassandra, but... what if it's me? What if I can't give her what she wants- a baby? What if I lose her?

Pleasant

In the Pleasant household the air was so thick with tension you could've cut it with a butter knife.

Everyone in the Pleasant family was mad at their spouse for cheating on them, and to avoid conflict they all developed a sudden interest in painting.

They claimed it was to help Mary-Sue with her ultimate wish to earn $100,000, something that wouldn't be achieved anytime soon without some hard work.

They all wondered how much longer this could go on, though. Now that all the kids were off to college there was no one in this house unbiased enough to stop a fight if one broke out.

Luckily Jennifer, Mary-Sue, and Daniel all worked, or else there probably would've been some drama.

Herb died...

...and he was placed to rest in the backyard.

The garden was full of weeds and overgrown shrubs...

And Mary-Sue was developing an unhealthy addiction to chocolate.

Coral was devestated by her husband's death, and would randomly break down crying all the time.

Mary-Sue cried too, when not devouring chocolate. It was only her fast metabolism that kept her from getting fat.

You'd think with Herb gone the affairs and tension in the Pleasant house would die down, but the exact opposite happened. Without Herb to please her Coral had to turn to Daniel when she needed affection.

With Daniel busy with Coral, among his other girlfriends, Mary-Sue was spending more time with John.

This, of course, left Jennifer feeling neglected, and without Herb she had two options; find another man, or lash her anger out on Mary-Sue.

And when Jennifer tried to lay a claim on her man...

...it just resulted in Mary-Sue yelling at her.

Finally, after Jennifer took John away from Mary-Sue once again, Mary-Sue lashed out on her adoptive mom. He's my husband, and if you really need attention that badly, find someone else!

Mary-Sue grabbed her husband. She'd show Coral who Daniel really loved.

Mary-Sue got yelled at, and it seemed the family was going insane without Herb.

Then Coral came to an astonishing conclusion: when she died or got her own boyfriend, the drama really would start to die down. Either that or get even worse.

Oh, Herb, I miss you so much. I'm causing so much trouble for the family... what should I do? Coral cried.

Caliente-Lothario

Don and Nina Lothario weren't accustomed to boring lives. So when life became too routine for the Caliente-Lotharios, they splurged on a beautiful park they'd turn into a business.

At first business was slow, and Don and Nina took the oppurtunity to spend some quality time with each other.

Adriana spent the time swinging on the swingset. As far as she was concerned, her parents had bought her a park as an early birthday present, and rather than the family business it was her personal playground.

Then she realized her father was selling tickets to other people to play in her park.

Don had been hoping to make some new acquaintances, but hugging women you don't know who happen to be married is probably not the best idea when you have a reputation as a womanizer.

Nina was supposed to be gardening, but the flowers were still fine and healthy, so she passed the time socializing and bonding with her daughter.

Of course that didn't mean she had it easy. Titania came up to her in a fit after Don's hug and complained that Don was trying to hit on her.Calm down, he just gave you a hug, Nina sighed.

Eventually Don had to tell her to leave, as she was causing too much trouble.

Meanwhile, Adriana was meeting new people, like Antonio Monty.

Though the Lotharios hoped a park would create some community and introduce the residents of Pleasantview to each other, it seemed to not be working. First Don had gotten on Titania's bad side, and now poor Antonio was getting yelled at by Don for a simple compliment.

Not many of the visitors are from Pleasantview anyway, though that's where the park was located. Most visitors were people born in Veronaville.

When Antonio Monty spied Cornwall Capp, he knew this was it. He never did like the Veronaville Feud, but with Cornwall it was different. With Cornwall it was personal. After all, he was pretty sure it was Cornwall that killed his wife.

Nina came over to stop the impending fight, but was distracted by how hot Cornwall was.

Luckily, Antonio got over his little outburst on his own, and set to work grilling hot dogs for the other customers as a peace offering.

Seeing as how it was too early- yep, Antonio had stayed at the park all night- Cornwall was one of the few customers there was to grill hot dogs for.

I've got to get a hold of myself... With Mom, Dad, and Consort dead, the feud is over. Hero wouldn't want me to restart it over her, especially without any actual evidence that Cornwall's guilty. And he saw me, I'm supposed to be in hiding! At least he doesn't know where my house is...

Of course, Cornwall wasn't about to let Antonio walk away from the park alive without a fight.

Antonio won, and Cornwall considered himself lucky that Antonio wasn't caught up in the feud, or Cornwall wouldn't be alive.

Meanwhile, Don was talking with Jessica Peterson, a woman from Belladonna Cove who was single. Inside, Don smiled. He'd seduced Dina, and she was married. It'd be all too easy with Jessica.

Meanwhile, Cornwall was crying over his loss in the fight.

The Lothario family returned home, and Adriana grew up into a pretty girl who wanted what her parents never had wanted- to settle down and raise a family. But that wasn't the end of Antonio and Cornwall...

Burb

Brandi walked over to her accountant calculator, and prepared herself for the dwindling numbers that were the Broke finances.

Nothing could've prepared her for what she saw, though. She needed money... and fast.

Antonio and Brandi finally officially married, something that had been in the works for a long time. Brandi took the Monty name, which had a couple of advantages and disadvantages. One advantage was Brandi no longer had the Broke name, which showed to the world she was moving on. Another was Antonio could distance himself from the traditions of his family, which was a matriarch. Unfortunately, by keeping the Monty name, Antonio and his family would be easier to find by Veronavillians.

Antonio, worried and protective as he was, was against a party, and only Betty was in attendance at the small living room wedding, though their other kids were sent pictures, videos, and cake, and they all came over at some point during the week to offer their congratulations, so it felt like an all-week wedding party.Brandi and Antonio had agreed their children would keep their original last names. This way the Broke name would live through Skip's three children.

All the celebration, and Brandi still didn't forget the anniversary of Skip's death. She'd cremated his ashes and spread them throughout Pleasantview, so anywhere was a fit place to celebrate. Even though she'd murdered him, she'd cared for him at one point. Would she have married him if she hadn't been pregnant with Dustin, though?

Brandi's thoughts suddenly turned to another dead sim. Olive Specter had died recently. Brandi remembered Olive had called her just when Brandi was about to leave for Olive's house. Olive had said her son was about to get married, and she'd have to call back later to reschedule. But before she could get the oppurtunity, Olive had died.

Brandi saw 113 Wright Way, and her heart pounded. She wanted that house more than anything, but it was way too expensive. If only Olive had gotten the chance to teach her...Teach her what? Brandi already knew how to kill, and if Olive could do it without a mentor, so could Brandi.

Brandi started imagining herself in 113 Wright Way, which didn't have tacky floors- or anything, for that matter. Brandi was in a beautiful dress and adorned with jewelry, entertaining a party full of rich men. She had perfume on, and she'd hired a bartender for the evening. Her personal butler was serving the guests lobster and caviar, cooked by her own personal chef. Her maid would clean up the mess when the party was over.

Brandi smiled. She could have that life. Well, not exactly- did anywhere in Pleasantview, or Veronaville or Strangetown for that matter, even sell perfume? Were there even any personal chefs in the area looking for work? But she'd at least be able to live without one luxary- perfume- and the butler could cook, and maybe clean, too.

Brandi took a deep breath. Could she do it?Yes, you can, Brandi told herself. Why is it any different from Skip?

She went in, and Antonio greeted her with a hug.My parents died, he said quietly. I just found out. They left me some money in their will, too, even though I abandoned them. Antonio started crying softly.

Maybe, Brandi thought. It can wait a little longer. We have enough money to last us a bit longer now, and I could use his income... But that's no reason to be idle. I'll make some new rich male friends- but nothing more than that! I will not be a murderer and a woman who cheats on her husband.

. . .

The next day while Antonio was at work Brandi hit up the local pool. Even rich guys swam, right?

She'd come by early though, and it was still too cool to be swimming for most people. Still, Brandi bided her time, running the names of rich men through her mind.

Kent Capp's disowned, and Mortimer Goth's married. Dare I date a college student? I'm in my 40s, and as far as I know since Tybalt, Romeo, and Mercutio were disowned, only Alexander Goth has a considerable fortune.

Suddenly Brandi realized she wasn't alone in the pool.Hi, I'm Brandi. I don't think I've ever seen you around...My name's Bianca, Bianca said. And I'm from Veronaville. But I drove out to Pleasantview to look for my brother, Antonio.Brandi stared at her. Veronaville? Antonio? And hadn't Antonio mentioned a sister named Bianca...

He came here to escape the feud. If you see him can you tell him his sister Bianca is looking for him, and that I promise I won't tell anyone else where he is? Bianca asked pleadingly.I'll keep an eye out for him, Brandi said.

Brandi got out of the pool. If she was going to chase the Goth fortune through Alexander there were better ways to meet him- after all, he was in the same dorm as Dustin, and maybe Beau though Brandi couldn't seem to remember. Also, she needed to talk to Antonio. Bianca had seemed so worried, and it didn't sound like she meaned any harm, and maybe Antonio would want to see his sister again.

Antonio came back from work to find Brandi waiting for him, and he kissed her lightly.

Antonio, I met Bianca at the pool today. She doesn't know we're married or even that we know each other, but she asked me to tell you that she's looking for you and that she won't tell anyone where you are. She sounded really worried.Antonio felt homesick when he heard this. He missed Bianca so much... Should he call her?

So much had happened since he'd last seen his family... He'd remarried, and now his two kids and his three step-kids were all grown up and old enough to go to college. Betty had grown up looking a lot like her mom, though she had blonde hair and blue eyes. She even wanted the same thing as her mom- a better, richer life.Maybe it was time Antonio called Bianca.
