Welcome, welcome, welcome! We are so glad you are here, and we pray our time together is a blessing for all! September is here, and with it a new season of … SMALL GROUPS!! There is a full slate of small groups just waiting for some folks to jump in and let the fun and growing begin! Small Group Sunday is scheduled for next week (9/9) and the following week (9/16), with meet-ings starting up the week of the 16th. Make sure to check out all the new groups, as well as some of the ongoing ones, to see how you’re going to plug in this Fall Season. Some are already full, but there’s plenty of others to choose from. Here’s a list of groups so far: Help for the Homeless, Faith Power (running group), Faithful Walkers, Christianity Explored, Craft Group, Essential Oils in the Bible, Book Club, Sunday AM Bible Study, Genealogy Group, Be Bold in Your Faith, Meditate with Jesus, Women’s Tuesday AM Bible Study, Fellowship for Singles (not the name), Prayer Small Group, Journeys, Pastor-led Bible Study.
Come and be Blessed - Teacher/Staff Blessing Day is taking place at the 11:00 AM Service on
September 16th. All teachers, those who teach children, adults or bible classes are also invited to
come and participate in this special service. Invite your teaching friends, all are welcome.

Marcia's Pantry Needs for this week ...are canned pasta sauce, pasta and Cloth Shopping Bags. Thank you on behalf of the 500 + peo-ple you helped last year, and we pray you are able to continue to help us feed the hungry.
We also need volunteers 2 hours on Wednesdays (with enough volun-teers, this opportunity occurs about every 5-6 weeks). ...if you have 2 hours

SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDIES
Join us on Sunday morning—a traditionally excellent time to study the Scriptures!

10:15 AM— Brothers and Sisters in the Word Sunday Morning Bible Study
Look a little deeper into the Scripture readings for each Sunday! Pour a cup of coffee, grab some refreshment, and join us in the Michel Building Multi-Purpose Room. This Bible study will not be fol-lowing a specific series or book of the Bible, so you can come once or many times. If your schedule does not allow you to join us every Sunday, come when you can! Visiting this week or for a few months? Come and spend an hour in fellowship and study! Led by Magdala Ray.
WEEKDAY BIBLE STUDIES
Home Bible Study on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at the home of Tom and Sally Schwartz — All are welcome. We begin at 6:30 PM with a potluck dinner, then Bible Study and fel-lowship. We end promptly at 9:00 PM. We begin a new study on The Book of Romans. Call for info and directions 622-4946.
Tuesday Morning Women’s Bible Study will begin on Tuesday, September 11th at 10:00 AM. Since there will be rummage in the Multi-Purpose Room, we will meet upstairs in the Michel Building until after the Rummage Sale. We will be studying Ezekiel using the book What is to Come by Kay Arthur and Pete DeLacy. Led by Fran Hickman

Health and Wellness Fair on Wednesday September 12th
New Day is having our annual Health and Wellness Fair on Wednesday September 12th from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Services include Blood Pressure Check, Flu Vaccines, Physical Therapy screenings, ID locator bracelets representative will be here from 3:30 to 5:00 PM, and more! Everyone is welcome to attend!

(September 11—13) beginning at 9:00 AM to place and price items. Volunteers are also needed to
work the days of the sale and to clean up after the sale.

Your donations help make our rummage sale a big success and the jewelry tables are always a fa-vorite. We would appreciation your donations starting now. It takes a lot of time to sort and price each item. You may leave them at the office and we can pick it up there.
