Children’s Christmas Program “Just A Little Christmas” will be presented today by the two-year old’s to the 6th graders, in the sanctuary at 11:00. All are invited to join us for the program and for Christmas treats with the kids afterwards.

Christmas Eve Service: We will be celebrating Christmas with a special service on Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24, at 4 pm. This will be a candlelight service as we worship the hope we have in Christ. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to join us. All are welcome.

Next Sunday, Dec 23: There will be Children’s Worship for 3 and 4 year olds during Worship. However there will be no 11:00 Sunday School Connection Hour until January 6.

Congregational Meeting: Save the date. This year’s Annual Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, January 20 at 1:00pm. There will be several items to be voted upon by the members: new members, deacons, the budget, etc. Contact Pastor Bryce with any questions.

2019 Women’s Retreat: Save the date for Bethel’s One Day Women’s Event! Put February 9, 2019, on your calendar. More details to come, but for now, start making plans to come and invite your friends.

11:00 Connection Hour. Classes will resume January 6, as we will be taking a break for the holidays. Adults: if you are interested in helping facilitate an adult class, let Pastor Bryce know. Also, parents: we encourage you to talk to your kids’ Sunday School teachers about what your kids will be learning this winter. Your involvement in their spiritual formation makes a huge difference.

Couples Night Out: All Couples are invited to our first couples event on Friday January 25. Doors will open at 6:15 and the event will run 7-8:30pm. Dessert will be provided. We encourage you to make a night out of it and have dinner before. This year’s theme will be “Game Changers” and the first night’s subject will be: “What Happy Couples Know.” Cost per couple: $10.

Community Groups: Community Groups are a great way to grow in your faith and connect with others in the church. Some groups discuss the sermon in greater depth. Others have different focuses. You will find a listing of groups on our website. Contact one of the group leaders or the office if you would like to join.

Opportunity to brighten a life at Christmas: The Good Samaritan Center is accepting gifts donated for their many residents without families. The gifts should be labeled for a man or woman and can be dropped off at the Center’s main desk. The deadline for donations is Dec 21. Our prayers and gifts for the residents are greatly appreciated.

Sunday Hospitality: We are looking for a few more people to help at the new Welcome Center near the front door, just once a month. If you would like to make coffee, or greet at the doors or in the foyer, or usher, we would love to have you join the team, especially if this would be your first time serving. Sign up or ask questions by sending an email to [email protected]

Property Purchase: Prayerfully consider making a special year-end contribution for the property purchase. There are several ways to give: Make a donation at bethelfree.com/give and select “Property Purchase”, mail a check payable to Bethel Church with “property Purchase” in the memo line, Sunday offering basket or drop by the office during the week, contact us for assistance with non-cash gifts (stocks, assets, annuities,), or make a pledge, using the letter that was mailed to you, or that is available at the Welcome Center.

Office/Building Closed: The office and church building will be closed Tuesday December 25 for Christmas and Tuesday January 1 for New Year’s.
