33 The Series Bible Study For Men All men are invited to join a short six week study. The study “33 The Series” by

Authentic Manhood is about setting men up to live lives of truth, passion and purpose. It is built around the life that Jesus modeled in His 33 years on earth. For those men that have not had a chance to take this class, we want to offer it during the Sunday School hour. This class will meet in the library at 10:00 a.m. beginning Sunday, June 19th .

I would like to start off this week on behalf of Maribeth, Kyle, and their families by saying thank you! It was a magnificent day for all of us. We know so many of you were not able to be here because of other engagements, and we totally understand. Someone asked me yesterday “How proud were you when Bro. Dave was bragging on how grounded and how she was such a godly woman?” My answer to her is what I want to share with you this morning… The members of Sand Spring, past, and present, Sunday school teachers, youth leaders, the Sr. Adults who spoiled her and made her feel so special are the ones who taught her so much on how to be such a godly person, by your examples. So yes, I am proud of my daughter, but, I’m also so proud to be a part of Sand Spring Baptist Church! Thank you for all your kind words and thoughts, We love each of you. Sand Springers we will be leaving the church at 8:30 on Tuesday for the trip to old Washington KY. If you haven’t given me your final payment for Branson I need it right away! Blessings, Ellery

20 Years At Sand Spring

My first day at Sand Spring was Monday, June 10, 1996. I can’t believe 20 years have passed since then. I have gained some pounds and lost some hair. I have also gained a lot of good friends and good memories of serving the Lord at this great church.

I take no credit for the good things that have happened at Sand Spring over the past 20 years. I am just thankful that the Lord allowed me to be here to see them happen.

I look forward to worshipping with you Sunday. You will enjoy hearing Bobby Welch, former pastor of First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach and President of the Southern Baptist Convention. After church, we will enjoy a great meal together!

Women. Vacation Bible School will be held on June 26-30. We are still in need of classroom assistants, and registration workers, if you are interested, please let me know. Wednesday nights we are having our VBS music practice. Music will be led by students during VBS this year. There are opportunities for those
