I'm pleased with the progress made.

We think the school has done a great job academically with our children

Not aware of the subject

Strong infusion of technology to reach all levels of learners

The school continues to strive for excellence by pushing the normal boundaries of education.

I don't feel afraid to schedule a meeting. I haven't had much teach interaction but I feel like if Iwanted it then I could easily arrange it.

Great done!!!

I think as a new parent it can be hard to tell where to prioritize my efforts. Perhaps this is just anatural progression but I feel like I am starting to get a good idea of my role in my child'ssecond year.

Goo progress

They do a great job.

I appreciate the efforts. I don’t get to attend meetings in person very often having regularinformation about meeting minutes or a taped video presence/live link, I think would be useful.

Really haven't heard much about it.

As a parent I appreciate how the school works hard to keep parents informed on all things thatare happening in the school.

Great achievement

!

I found it to be informative and thorough with all my questions.

The school is doing a great job getting family informed and involved.

Parents were more aware of events and learning progresses which is good.

Provide strategies and supports to close the achievement gap in our students

I strongly support the emphasis on research at earlier and earlier ages.

Stronger communication through the use of technology. Less Paper. More training to all facultyto make it more consistent at all levels - not just elementary.

More training offered to teachers who are not fully onboard with Google classroom, or in-syncwith their grade-level team. Full usage of Google classroom would support the individualized, targeted learning goal.

High school kids are treated like college kids and that took a little getting use too.

communication to parents about high school students grades, requirements, activities islacking

The monthly newsletter is a great addition to the informational portal. Always interesting tohear what the other grades are accomplishing, the accolades of the sports and variousacademic teams, and the upcoming events to include on our calendars.

I am looking to help coordinate internship opportunities for our high school students.

Get parent's their own Google interface instead of using the student's username andpassword. Interface Focus and Google Classroom for a one-stop-shop experience for studentsand parents.

Teachers and faculty tried hard to keep parents up to date by also keep the high school kidsindependent.

It would be nice to have parent workshops on alternative times during the week as Thursdaysdon't work for us and they never work with our work schedules, so if this can be rotated toMondays, Wednesdays or Fridays, it would be most helpful and appreciated!

checking in with students and parents mid-term. include parents in emails sent to studentsregarding deadlines, etc.

Each child is different and should be treated as such.

Keep guiding & help the students improve their grades

Explicit instruction and strategies to close the achievement gap and excel students' overallachievement levels

The more critical thinking types of projects, the better for student readiness into the world.

High achieving academic students should be put into groups/accelerated environmentswhether it's advanced classes or advanced learning groups in the individual classrooms - I amconfident that the higher level students aren't being challenged in each subject. Math seems tobe the only area where they have accelerated learning opportunities, from elementary andmiddle

Just staying creative in teaching so that there is involvement by all students. Being able tomotivate all types of learners with projects, etc.

Provide parents with more details on the curriculum and additional resources so parents canassist and reinforce what is required for the child to learn in the classes.

Help teachers to understand special needs (big gap). Ensure teachers are boosting thechildren's strengths and assisting their weaknesses.

More learning through play/projects

Possibly more hands on/real world learning however I defer to the experts

I find some of the current curriculums are not easy to understand. I think they are more difficultto learn.

To continue allowing the teachers with the freedom to adjust lessons as situations changewithin the classroom.

Have workshops for the students with a teacher that can help them work through any difficultythat they may be having with any of their classes.

should ensure all students participate in group project

More challenging special projects.

For students to improve more, they should perform more hands on projects and listen to theteacher to process these topics.

Communicate "Common Core" teaching techniques with parents.

Should inform the parents of the child's progress and behavior

Curriculum should match the textbook provided by the teacher

Maybe a little less reliance on technology for homework. We feel there is so much of it for thekids to come home and have to hop on the computer for more we would like to see morecreative thinking projects that do not involve just reliance on technology.

Keep up the good work

I strongly suggest at least two teacher-parent conferences a year. I don't feel one towards thebeginning of the year is enough for us to truly understand how our children are doing. Weshould have at least one more in the 2nd half of the year so we have the opportunity to askquestions and understand how our child is doing.

Really happy with the education here.

Communication is key , shouldn’t always be by technology, we need one on one with ourteachers please

Would like to see an open fruit bar again for the kids to choose healthy choices throughout thedate. The menu and the amount of food for the kids should be updated. Serving amounts forgrowing children that are active and engaged all day should be upped. Lunch portions areminimal and not sufficient to keep our kids full during the days.

I find that the teachers are very responsive and when needed I've gotten support that weneeded at the administrative levels, it's also easy to get information needed and navigate toget questions answered.

The staff is so great here. They work so hard keeping the kids safe which is becoming criticalnow. The front desk is super sweet. The nurse is amazing. The traffic controllers are soamazing basically risking their life and dealing with some serious dangerous drivers. ThePrinciple/V.P. are so approachable and professional. I think sports/club communication wouldbe great to improve & there would be more involvement. For instance and huge calendar withEVERYTHING (acadmics, sports, clubs, competitions, trips,) on it would be so great. Anotherexample is communicating ahead of time of weekends the clubs would be competing, etc. Some parents have to arrange work schedules to drive the kids. You all are amazing teachersand work so hard and I support you in every way.

We feel so lucky to have Mrs. Schaefer for kindergarten. She truly has a gift for teaching

Excellent school, amazing staff. It's clear that everyone is on the same page!

best school hands down because of parents engagement.

The staff at ADHUS is nothing shy of amazing. They make every parent feel like they are themost important family on campus!

I would like to see more social and emotional support programs for the older elementarygrades leading into middle school. In middle school, I would like to see that the students arecontinuing to build life skills in addition to the academics.

I can't say enough about the relationship between the teachers and my children. Theygenuinely care about their academic goals, their progress and their lives outside of theclassroom. They have been challenged to be creative while pursuing a program with academicrigor. The bock schedule has allowed for more electives which has been a plus as well. Wouldlike to see the band brought back as I think most high schools have a band and that thosestudents who attend FAU High might also have the opportunity to participate in FAU'sMarching Owls. Not necessarily a full symphonic band, but at least try and put together some
