"TELECOM and digital services provider PLOT expects double-digit revenue growth in the third quarter on the back of expected strong performances from its Home and Enterprise businesses.

Manny Pangilinan, PLOT chairman, told reporters following the launch of PLDT's tIREADY campaign in Makati City that the company is 'always positive' about its revenue targets for the Home and Enterprise segments.

'It's picking up a bit more momentum towards the end of the year, he said.

Pangilinan said PLOT is also set to expand and heighten the rollout of its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network across the country by allocating a higher capital expenditure (capex).

We're allocating bigger portion of our capex budget in the coming years for fixed lines to grow FTTH. Homes passed before the end of the year (would be] between 3.8 million to 4 million homes. That will increase in each year (because)there's a certain target we want to reach in five years,' he added.

"PLOT Inc. expects to post a double-digit growth in revenues this year driven by sustained expansion of its fixed line business in the both home and enterprise segments, according to Manuel Pangilinan, PLOT chairman and president"

We would like to confirm the statements made by our Chairman and CEO regarding the expected double digit growth in revenues of our Home and Enterprise businesses. This outlook is consistent with the actual year-on-year increases for Home and Enterprise revenues registered in the first half of 2017 of 11% and 12%, respectively. PLDT's Home and Enterprise businesses together account for 46% of our consolidated service revenues (net of interconnection costs).

We also wish to confirm that we are targeting 3.8 to 4 million fiber homes passed for 2017, and that we are allocating a greater percentage of our capex budget this year to the fixed line business as compared to previous years.

Finally, we would like to advise that PLOT is still in the process of preparing its unaudited financial statements for the third quarter of 2017 (3Q17). We expect to release our unaudited financial results for 3017 on 9 November 2017.
