Piloting the Hamke Chassis LateModels will be veteran drivers BillBurba and Mike Stacy. Mike iscurrently second in the CRA JEGSALL-STAR SERIES point standingaer the first two races. Mike’s patience and perseverance paid off in the first race of the season ashe was able to claim an eighthplace finish for the Platinum Motorsports Team and give theteam a solid start heading into thesecond event at Columbus Motor

Speedway. e team put togetheranother solid run at Columbuswith Mike qualifying sixth andbringing home a third place finishthat moved him into third place inthe series point standards.

Bill Burba made his 2015 debut in Columbus. Bill made an impressive showing in his firststart with a brand new Hamkechassis. e car showed impres-sive speed right out of the trailerand Bill showed he knows his way around the flat, tricky ovalwhen he qualified the white #26machine third for the 100 lap race.Unfortunately Bill had troubleearly on aer getting spun and hitearly in the event. Still the teamand Bill soldiered on to the finish.Aer several pit stops to repair

damage and make adjustments,Bill brought the Platinum Expressmachine home in twelh place.

CSA has been a continual monsterthat Platinum has been dealing with . . . the unsafe driving bucketbeing lit up for over a year resulted in Platinum taking a $40,000 increasein premiums at renewal time. To saythe least, the unsafe acts have got tostop! Examples are: seatbelts, speeds,lane violations, following too close,failure to yield, stop signs or redlights . . . things of that nature. at is why we have gone to ALL UNSAFE violations start at $150.00,$250.00 for second time and$350.00 for third time.
