Clean up the surface inside of coaming before application.

Application Procedure①


Apply PLASEAL NF-25 as any cables do not touch coamingand not be in touch with each other.

Spacer can be used to make space between each cable, and between any cable and coaming. Also, metal parts can be used for applying at the deck division to enhance your work-efficiency.

Please make sure to apply PLASEAL NF-25 without any space, especially at the surrounding of any cables. (For example, a stick or suitable instrument can be used in order not to make any space.)

Apply PLASEAL NF-25 up until edge surface of Rectangular coaming/Circular coaming when using it for both sides of bulkhead or for the underside of deck position.


Application Procedure③


Put PLASEAL NF-24 HARDENER(powder) into PLASEAL NF-24 BASE(liquid) little by little in a bucket, and then mix them so well. (It might be difficult to mix them uniformly if HARDENER is put into BASE all at once.) Once opened, all contents must be mixed.

If the content has low fluidity within about 30 minutes after mixing, it gets higher by mixing again. (Fluidity can be influenced by environment temperature to a certain degree.)

Please be sure to finish working to apply within 30 minutes after mixing.

It is recommended to apply mixed compound little by little in several times, all mixed PLASEAL NF-24 for applying to inside of cable penetration area at once could lead to the leakage of the mixture because PLASEAL NF-25 previously applied for sealing might be insupportable to the weight of PLASEAL NF-24. Further, when applying PLASEAL NF-24, please pay attention not to be aerated inside of penetration area and make sure to confirm that PLASEAL NF-24 is filled onto the inlet.

Notes・The warranty period for PLASEAL NF-24 and PLASEAL NF-25 is 6 months after

production, and is valid if products remain sealed and are stored at room temperature avoiding direct sunlight.

・It is recommended to put PLASEAL NF-24 HARDENER into PLASEAL NF-24 BASE in several times rather than to put it all at once to make your mixing work ease.

・Please be sure to finish working to apply within 30 minutes after mixing.Standard Hardening Time 30 deg.C approx. 8 hours

20 deg.C approx. 12 hours10 deg.C approx. 24 hours

・It might take approximately one week or more for hardening under the condition below 5 degrees C. Also, hardening time would be much shorter at 40 degrees C. or higher, so please be careful.

・Please take fully care to keep the applied compound from rainwater until hardened, especially when using it overboard.

・When compound is used outdoors, ensure rain doesn’t come into contact withsurface covering with some waterproof material.

・PLASEAL NF-24 is certified in combination with PLASEAL NF-25.
