• Flexibility in the make-up of the trays :the large dimensions of the Euronorm trays combined with their make-up flexibility enables you to have in the same trolley both hot and cold meals, but also fully cold meals. Thus it is possible to adapt to the widest range of consumers expectations.

•Fan-assisted refrigeration by an on-board compressor.

• The CARELIS Fresh trolley is completely autonomous and is particularly suited for single-building facilities.

• Cold production is ensured by a compressor placed beneath the chassis, resulting in a significant space saving.

• Refrigeration starts as soon as the unit is powered up.

• A fan-assisted evaporator within the cavity spreads the cold air so as to get optimal performance on each tray (on each level). This position allows for hose washing and complete disinfection at each cleaning.

• The CARELIS Fresh trolley is of course fully hose washable (8 bars).

Condensates are gathered at the diamond shaped bottom of the cavity. They can be drained through the foot-operated drainage valve during cleaning.

Refrigeration byEutectic Plates

•Simplicity of use and cost efficiency

• Refrigeration is ensured by 2 or 3 eutectic plates that have been previously stored in a freezer or a cold storage room. They are placed vertically in the trolley’s cavity on a pivoting rack for easy loading.

• They are ventilated to ensure a homogeneous distribution of the cold on each tray.

• Condensates are gathered at the diamond shaped bottom of the cavity. They can be drained through the foot-operated drainage valve during cleaning.

• The CARELIS PE trolley is of course totally hose washable (8 bars).

Refrigeration system :CARBOFRESH™Secure refrigeration

• The CARELIS Carbo trolleys are completely autonomous.

• A dry-ice tank within the trolley’s cavity produces the refrigeration.

• This cooling effect is completely silent and does not depend on the trolley being plugged in. Cooling begins in the central kitchen as soon as liquid CO2 is injected into the tank turning into dry-ice while part of it turns into coolant gas within the cavity.

All of the frigories produced are therefore fully used, making pre-cooling of the cavity redundant and optimising CO2 consumption.
