Scientists and Health advisers all around the world have agreed, that going plant-based is the way to a healthier and greener lifestyle.
The plant-based diet has earned the approval and recommendation of doctors all around the world, and has found to be of immense importance to our health and well being.
Dieticians say that plant-based diets are healthful, nutritionally adequate, and provide health benefits in the prevention and treatment of certain diseases. Vegetarians also have lower rates of the following health problems:
death from heart disease blood cholesterol levels blood pressure hypertension type 2 (adult-onset) diabetes prostate cancer colon cancer
By going plant-based, you not only benefit your own health, but also benefit Mother Earth’s health.
Plants help in the production of Oxygen, and take up Carbon Dioxide from the surroundings, hence, purifying the air we breathe.
Plant-based foods are also less prone to carry diseases, as compared to meat foods.
A greener cover on our planet ensures timely rainfalls, balances the eco system, and also provides a healthy life and diet to all the Herbivorous animals, which are in turn, extremely useful to us too.
Plants are our life.
Going plant based, will essentially lead us to planting more trees and plants, which is the need of the hour.
Going plant-based is the most important prerequisite to going green. Always remember, that the term ‘Green’, has originated from plants and trees itself.
Love plants and trees. Respect them. Plant them. Care for them. And see for yourself, the positive effect you can create, for the environment, and for yourself.
